The rest of the family was also painted blue...we were too far away to get a picture of them all....ummm...not sure I would have wanted to do that! We were totally traumatized! Had to cover Aiden's little innocent eyes! It was scary!! I'm glad the bubbler will make the fish happy. We plan on taking the GS to fishing. Hopefully the fish are so deliriously happy with the bubbler that they will jump right on the hook. Kenny arrived shortly after we got set up and brought us the same fast, red Kenny Kart we had last time. So off we went in search of some pixie dust after our fiasco with check in. (Have I told you I HATE the 600 loop!!) :argh: First stop...the Meadow Trading Post. Here's some Halloween items we found...Mickey Ghost is a little light and then there is the Halloween tree (?). After a week of traveling we finally made it to the Fort today. Took almost 45 minutes to get through check in as Disney, once again, succeeded in messing up our reservations. :blowup: At the moment we are in site 609...I HATE the 600 loop! :argh: Premium sites appear to be packed full. We are waiting for Kenny to bring our golf cart and go check it all out. I'm so bummed...and this is supposed to be my happy place! More later and hopefully some pictures. Come by and see us when you arrive...hopefully then we will be out of the 600 loop!

We arrived this afternoon and were greeted with this in our packet.... As soon as Kenny gets here with our golf cart we are going out to check and see how many are actually following the "guidelines"...pictures coming up later.

I have seen plenty of ECVs with Walker Mobility, Buena Vista Scooter Rental and Apple Rental on them...don't know anything about the companies. If I remember correctly Disney's ECVs rent for $50/day. If you park hop you cannot take the Disney ECV with you. Disney ECVs are rented by the main entrances to the park and you have to return them there when you leave the park. You can, however, show your receipt from one park at the next park (on the same day) and they will give you an ECV without charging you again. BUT...ECVs at Disney are first-come, first-serve. We are members in SC and our local offices sell everything BUT annual passes. The orlando office just asked to see our card and sold us the APs at the discounted price...that was last November so things may have changed since....you need to call and ask.

This is where we got our APs last year. You have to go to the Orlando office to pick them up the voucher....they will not mail or email them.

I know the last word means "amen" .... So i would guess it's a religious song? Edit: When I posted this Ed's answer wasn't there. Somehow or other this new version doesn't always show all the posts in a timely manner. Go figure....

When our grandson was with us last May we saw people at the pool with a life jacket on their toddler. We asked about where to find the life jackets and they told us to go down to the marina and get one out of the box. So...that's what we did and we kept it for our entire stay. Nobody said anything, but, I would imagine if everybody started doing that then the marina people would get a little bit upset. We have received bounce-backs three times. Each time it was only good for the Ft Wilderness CABINS, not campground. Bounce backs are offers given to you while you are at a Disney resort. Ours came via email...sometimes they leave you a notice in your room. They are usually pretty good deals. The catch is that you have to book your reservation for the deal during your current stay. One of the notices said that if we cancelled our deposit was forfeit.

How cute!! Just love the idea....so much better than those cheesy autograph books they sell at Disney! I may "borrow" a few of these if Aiden decides he wants to collect autographs while we're there for Halloween GG.
