We'll be there only one day and it's a day that's going to be very crowded, I'm sure. Three teens who love roller coasters and two adults who don't. Priorities for the coaster lovers? Best things for the non-coaster people to do? Is the water park worth it (wondering if the adults should go to the water park while the teens do the regular park).

I don't like it. The white laminate looks like a dry erase board (maybe it is?). I wonder if they're going to change the All Star Family Suites. That was our most recent All Star experience. The room was worn but a refurb in a similar manner would be better than this look IMHO. Carpet may get dirty but it does muffle the sound from above if you're on a lower floor. I remember staying in a hotel somewhere and it sounded like the person above was dropping marbles on the floor throughout a good part of the night. We never could figure it out, but it was annoying.

So many thoughts! First of all, someone is brilliant. Probably didn't take much to make (some retiree's hobby?) so most of your $299/day would be profit. From the user's point of view -- how do you push it and steer? How do you get people to stop putting their kids in it and taking pictures when it's in stroller parking? And from other guests' point of view -- how much does it hurt when it slams into you? As a "suck it up and walk" Mom, I would never have gone for it, but I'm sure it will be popular, especially as the pictures of it appear on social media.

The point of the FP+ reservation is for those other two people who had the FP+ reservation to enjoy the attraction. They still aren't enjoying the attraction, the other family members are enjoying it twice. It's not like they paid $$ and would be losing the tangible $$ if no one used the FP+. The family members who ride twice can't transfer their enjoyment to the two that stayed behind so that they can experience it too. "Hey, Johnny -- we got to ride Mine Train twice while you were back at the campsite throwing up." "Wow, Suzy, that makes me feel so much better knowing my place in line di

My face is armpit level with the majority of people so I avoid tight crowds. Especially after an experience where everyone pushed together and I couldn't breathe. I'm ok with crowded places as long as people aren't all trying to get to the same space. Luckily I still have no interest in Avatar or Avatarland, and (unluckily) probably won't make it back to WDW for 2+ years. But, I am enjoying reading about it so I can be glad I'm not there with the masses. Plus I love AK. So, thanks and I'm reading along.

So we should add #undiesarenotshorts to #tightsarenotpants ! I wonder if he's Disneybounding ?

No, glamping actually takes place outdoors but with luxury accommodations and services. These kids aren't even leaving their villa. They're just pretending to slum it like those crazy (tent) campers.

So one of the advertisements for the Copper Creek Villas and Cabins is that your children can pretend to camp in a primitive tent (in the luxury of their villa)!?

Wilderness Lodge trip 2017 - Upgrades, Tours and Backstage, Oh My!

I love the mosaics in the castle and it's neat that they have some in the suite also. It would be so cool to stay in that suite. -
WDW to introduce driverless shuttles

How do you exchange insurance information with a driverless vehicle? -
In all fairness, the birds were probably eating in that spot first. See this thread:

Weekend trip to 2 Florida State Parks UPDATED 4/27
Seals replied to Travisma's topic in Trip Reports
Different perspectives -- I think a griddle your own pancake place is cool for a vacationy type breakfast experience. I've never seen one before. The advantage would be the pancakes are hot off the griddle instead of warm, cool or cold depending on how crowded the breakfast place is and how overworked the waiter/waitress is. And even at home by the time I, the griddler, get to eat my pancakes they are also usually not hot. Of course I never thought to set the griddle in the middle of the table. -
I'm not usually one to wish bad things on people, but I'm really hoping Becca and Ryan and Addy have trees fall on their heads and/or prized possessions some day. Enjoying the report and hoping for some pictures of Rocky (playing tetherball?).

Splash Mountain Closing for Long Refurb Aug-Nov
Seals replied to BradyBzLyn...Mo's topic in WDW and Disney Park Discussions
Would the SM refurbishment tie into something for a re-opening of it next Spring? I have not clue what, I'm just throwing that idea out there. -
Congratulations to both of you!

I still don't see a picture. And when I right click to open in a new tab it takes me to a Google sign in page. Are you making the photos public?

I hope your son had a good review. My older son is an Eagle and my other two are on their way. They are so fortunate to have an excellent scout troop that has provided them with a lot of opportunities. I was a girl scout and recognize the impact it had on my life (during the middle school girl drama years it was a lifesaver to me to have my girl scout friends and activities to give me self confidence). And my older son wrote his college essay about his experience at another boy scout high adventure -- Sea Base in the Florida Keys. He went once for scuba and once spending a week on a boat

I really hope you can fix the pictures -- I can only see them in 2 posts -- because all 3 of my sons were at Philmont last July ! From around the 9th to the 22nd. They all loved it and it was an excellent experience for them. It was the second time for the older one and he begged to go back. I've never been to New Mexico, or Colorado (they flew into Denver and took a bus to Philmont) so I'm jealous of the opportunities I've provided for them.

Legend of Sleepy Hollow showing at the Fort
Seals replied to Katman1356...Jason's topic in WDW and Disney Park Discussions
So for $22 you get a pin, one character photo op and a movie that you can purchase on DVD shown on a big screen? For $16 more you get a goodie bag? -
Fort Wilderness Food Truck?

That is one ugly wall decoration in one ugly room.
