I realize most of you are much younger than we are so walking is easier on you. Us old folks have a hard time doing too much walking. Pushing the 3 wheel chairs helps me as it gives me something to hold on to when walking. We have enjoyed having oI our own golf cart especially when I have LARGE loads of laundry that is too much for our small washer in the RV. The kids also love "looping" especially during the holidays when there are decorations. It really comes in handy. But if you like to use a bicycle then I would suggest you continue to do so. When our TA made my daughter's reservations she requested she be put close to us. Then 2 days out mydaughter faxed a request and I also called the front desk the day she was to arrive because the site right next to us was empty. I was told the Supervisor was already making sure she was next to us. And she is. It is great.

My daughter got in this afternoon,. She is right next to us. We are in 1016 and she is in 1019. I can't even drive this RV straight ahead and she backed hers in with no trouble. That girl is good. Much better than her old mom.

We have been caught when the park closed. The boats from the Fort all knew about it. It happened to our family on the 31st. I took Melissa and Darby to the boat and she checked and he said it was open to those staying on property and/or with annual passes. She had both. So they went straight in and had a ball because everyone was celebrating the parades, etc. and she and Darby rode all the rides as many times as they wanted. Christmas Day, we know not to try and get near the parks.

We requested the 1200 or 1400 loop when we checked in but they were full. Maybe that was a good thing for us after all. LOL

Is there any way to get fast passes for later in the day? Every time I go on line to get them they give me times for 7:30 or 8:30 am. There is no way to get our 3 anywhere by 8:30. I wouild love to get them for around 2 to 4 pm. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Dave, where did all the props that were displayed in the room we went through to get on the back lot tour train go? I loved those things. They can bring them to my house......

Ours are on all night too. Santa would be upset if they were not on. This is Christmas after all.

We saw it too. It was late starting and did not have near as many golf carts as in the past. And only 3 or so would even qualify for best decorated or theme. Ken went over to the Bike Barn to see if they would be judging the campsites and it was closed. So don't know ig they are judging this year or not.

It has rained a little here but has stopped for now. I just want the rain and the heat to be gone before my daughter and grandchildren arrive Friday. They are all so excited. This is the first year we have not taken part in the parade. My allergies were acting up and the meds made me sleepy. I must be getting old. LOL

There are a few nice displays. Our site is all decorated (1016) and a few sites in this loop are decorated but not overly done. Not many are decorating this year. It is sad....not the same as it use to be. And we have to turn the lights off at 10:30 and yet many people are still driving around much later than that wanting to see the decorations. Several people have stopped at our site to thank us for decorating and telling us they love that we do this for "them". I am going to see if they have the site decoration contest this year. I would guess they won't if they are trying to do away

Tim I sent you a private message. I bought the little girl a new lanyard with 4 pins on it today. It is called a starter set and is really nice. Also have another pin another fiend gave me for her. We will drop it all by your site tomorrow. Perhaps you can collect all the pins and put them on the lanyard for her. Ken or I one will get it to you by the afternoon. Is the lady who stole it still here? If so, we should make a sign and point it in her direction that says: "Be sure your sins will find you out.....

Do you plan to make some to sell? Like maybe a Class A?

I can attest to the fact that the only thing that works on the CS in the 900 loop is the Magic Band. I went over there with my KTTW card and it would not work so I went back to get my band. So far we have had no problem with the MB except Ken's trouble at the gate. He will try again tomorrow when he and Shawnee make another Wal Mart tun. :banana:

Tuesday night we were coming back to the Fort on the launch. We got just a short distance from the dock when the Captain announced that all water craft had to return to the dock and all passengers had to leave the boat. At first no one knew the reason but one young cast member on the dock said she was not allowed to talk about it. So, all of us had to walk to the buses and take a bus to the Wilderness Lodge and then the shuttle to the Fort. We are here and I have a couple of pins to spare and I also found a pink lanyard that we are not using. Not even sure where I got it. If the lady saw who took it they should be able to find her easy enough. And she should be arrested. Now I am afraid to leave anything out. This world seems to get worse and worse every day.

We got a notice at check in stating they wanted everything turned off at 10 BUT no one around us is doing it so i am leaving ours on too. None of our neighbors are complaining but if they do then I will turn them off. My blow ups do not put off much light so about all I would have to turn off are the lights. Tonight while walking back to the RV from the MVMCP it was very dark and we could have used some outdoor lighting.

We decorate a lot and will arrive on the 11th. I think all the new rules concerning the lights, etc. has put a damper on a lot of the decorating. Some of those who decorate will be coming in about the same time we do. We have noticed that in year's past. Don't give up yet. But I know it will not be the same if people stop decorating. That is the main reason we are going to change everything for next year. We will be coming to Fort for Thanksgiving week and then spending 3 weeks in the mountains of Tn. for Christmas. Maybe we will see snow in 2015 there. Then we can decide whether to d
