We have a 38' RV and a 12' trailer and we have always been able to fit both on our campsite. We even have lots of room left to decorate the campsite. We should check in on the 9th.....maybe we will see you there.

Yes....what happened to the train???

We always love the backyard barbecue but last year we went closer to Christmas and the food was turkey & chilcken, dressing, etc. I wanted barbecue. I would imagine it would be the same this year too. The HDDR had their usual barbecue and we loved that. If you are going for the food I would skip the barbecue but if you are going for the fun then that is the way to go. We love the entertainment even though it is always the same. Have fun.

Last year while at Disney I checked ours on line and found a few missing. I sent an e-mail to them and they found them and they were posted within a few hours. Good Luck.

Buddy will be really jealous and upset if you give him a cuter name than his. I like Busman since his owner is a bus driver. But I remember how much you love apple pie Lou. Call him Apple. Whatever you decide will be the right one for him. I want a female Yorkie for Kimberly. How do you find all these beautiful little ones? See you on the 27th.....or at least Ken and Shawnee will. Shawnee asks every day "we go see Mr. Lou?". We show him on the calendar but he still asks. You have a friend for like in our son Lou. That's it...name the new dog "Shawman" after our son. :heartsmiley

We camped in April at Disney, July in Tn. and will be back to the Fort in December for at least 3 weeks. Never get enough camping. :mh1:

We have had reservations for our December trip since last December. We also have annual passes for all of us. We have received nothing as far as the MB are concerned. Does that mean when we check in we will receive the KTTW cards or the MB then? Help???

The Golf Cart Parade has taken place at 4 pm on Christmas Eve for the past couple years, maybe even longer. They also judge the sites and the cabins later that night and the winners are usually posted at the comfort stations or the bike barn.

I need some 5 day tickets for some family members that are coming to the Fort in December. $650 would be only $325 pers ticket for the 5 days and they are park hopper? I live in Stone Mountain. I will pm you my e-mail. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks, Judy

I am sure my question has been answered on this board but at 2:46 am I can not find it. We have annual passes and they are the paper ones. When we get to the Fort in December, how do we go about chaning the paper to the new bracelets or whatever they are called. LOL Thanks so much. Judy and the Angels

We have rented from a couple of companies while staying at the Fort. DH can give you more information. I do know they picked him up at the Fort and when he returned the car they drove him back to the Fort. We have always gotten good service and even fair prices.

As most of you know I have back issues big time. In 2009 I went into the hospital for a spinal fusion. The surgeon did it in two parts 5 days apart. Did great and within a week I was home. About my 3rd or 4th day home Ken noticed a drainage from my back so off to the surgeon's office we went. She sent us straight to the hospital.....horrible hospital acquired infection apparently. I was hospitalized for another 5 weeks and had 5 more back surgeries to try and clean out the infection, which was now in the bone, and then 1 to permanently close the back. I almost died. The Jungle Cruise is my all time favorite and is now one of Shawnee's favorites. He is already asking to go on the Jungle Cruise. Can't wait to see it decorated for Christmas.

We have had to book our 4 week stay in 2 and even 3 reservations from time to time. Our travel agent handled it all for us. All we had to do was go to the front desk on the check out day and they would allow us to stay in the same site and they gave us new cards, etc. Then when the day came to checkout on that one, we did the same thing again and never had to move even once. The suggestion to book at least a year out is almost necessary now. And booking for longer than you are going to stay is the way to go. You can cancel part of it later or even when you get to the fort. Good luck a

We have invested in Annual Passes for all of us for years. We get the park hopper option also. A lot of people do not think the PH is worth paying for but for us it is. Sometimes our children (in wheel chairs) get tired or one park and Shawnee will ask to go to another specific park. We can do this easily. Sometimes they offer a discount if you renew your annual pass 30 days before of after the expiration date on the ones you now have. Ours this year expire in March 2014. Not sure how but they had our tickets all "messed" up a year ago and when the girl finally got it straightened out

Never done: Mickey's Christmas Party (probably never will), Halloween (would love to do that one time), LuAu (I have done that years ago but dh has not), stay in the Polynesian once, visit all the resorts. I guess that it is all for now.
