  1. I purchased annual passes on line. Then linked them to my reservations. We received the magic bands a few weeks ago. We also have the ticket exchange certificate. Do I need to take the exchange certificate to the window to get the actual paper ticket? I would not mind doing that so the first day would be that day rather than the day we purchased the magic bands.
  2. Oh I love it Ray. If I were going to be at home instead of WDW I would decorate all my yard too. I really like the arches. Where did you every find them. God Bless you for making so many people happy with your display.
  3. I have to chime in now with my 2 cents worth. If a group anywhere around our site had more cars than allowed and more than 10 people actually staying on the site I would report them and keep reporting them until those in charge got tired of my calls and did something about it. I am a person who hates to complain and possibly spoil another's vacation, but as mentioned above, we pay a LOT to stay at the Fort and to have our vacation ruined due to people who constantly break the rules is unfair to all of us. The squeeking wheel gets the oil....well if I squeek enough they will eventually come
  4. You should let my husband store your lights for you. He takes them down and throws them in a box and then wonders why the next year they are so tangled up. This year I may train him on the proper way to do things. LOL
  5. Sorry you had to cancel. Wish those were the days my daughter needs. Hopefully you will get to the Fort soon. God Bless You and Happy Thanksgiving.
  6. I am excited that we were able to get reservations for MVMCP, the Hoop De Doo and the Backyard barbecue. Shawnee and Kimberly love all of them and I am sure Blake will too. We enjoy them too and the food is always good. We have not started packing the trailer or RV yet as we have a week trip to Mobile for Thanksgiving next week and the trailer is loaded with furniture, etc. that we are delivering to kids and siblings. When we return home on the 30th we start loading the van with all the many boxes of Christmas decorations and theRV with food, clothing (summer and winter), diapers, etc. T
  7. As dh said above our Savannah is very protective of all of us. She will bark at anyone who comes in and will try to run up to them. Those who know her well now know that she is running to them to be petted. She has even barked at me until I say something to her, then she knows it is me. Anyone who will just stop and let her come to them will find a dog with a wagging tail waiting to be petted. She loves people. Blakes nurse is terrified of her and refuses to try and get to know her. Even if I am holding Savannah she will not get close to her. I want her to get over her fear but I don't
  8. Our newer RV has a larger fridge with an icemaker. Sure saves us a lot of money. We do splurge on a bag here and there if we need extra. May even cut down on that with the cost having gone up. :-[
  9. Lou, I told you to stop picking on all us old floks with young kids who use those blowups. Some of them are actually cute and I enjoy them. But I also enjoy all the millions of lights strung up every where. Last year we did not even got all of ours up. We only have about 30+ not to mention the trees, lights, signs, etc. I need to get a huge "LOU" to stand in front of our RV. That would bring in a lot of visitors. Maybe I shouldn't....we have a lot of folks with cameras already taking pictures at all times of the night at our site. :wheelchair: :mh1:
  10. I have been checking out all the campsites on this machine and the I Pad. All of you know we have been to the Fort at least 35+ times but I still have a question. You all also know we have a lot of decorations to put up on our site and we have the 38' RV with 3 slides and a 12' trailer. So we do need one of the biggest sites they have. Ken thinks the 1200 loop would meet our needs, especially 1209 & I can't remember the other one. We like having a street behind our site because it makes decorating the back of the site much easier. Now for my question: Which site would give us a st
  11. Hey Lou: Now I need to find a way to purchase one of the trams and have you deliver it to Ga. for me. What do you think?
  12. I love a good pumpkin pie with whip cream. And Lou, I have to agree with you...there is really nothing better than a slice of hot apple pie. Yummy....... :fork: :thumbsup3:
  13. Lou for someone like me with absolutely no talent, except caring for babies/children, it does not look simple. But I sure do love it and wish I could make one.
  14. Ray, we hope to see you again this Winter too. We should be there 12/10 to 01/03 or 04. Kimberly sends big hugs and kisses. :heartsmiley:
  15. Shawnee is great. Doing well in school and enjoying all the pep rallys and community outings. We went to court on July 2nd to get guardianship of him. Even though we have adopted him we still had to get guardianship since he will be unable to take care of all his needs. He was so cute in the court room. As we were leaving he looked up at the Judge and said "Have a safe trip". (He knew we were leaving the next day for Tn.) She smiled and said "You have a safe trip too Shawnee". Our son is a flirt and knows how to work people. LOL Kimberly is always happy and enjoys life to the fullest
  16. We usually go once every Christmas season. DW is the one who eats the ribs. I get one and some chicken, along with the potatoers and corn. Shawnee can go through several loaves of cornbread as well as maybe a rib and several helpings of potatoes and beans. Kimberly usually waits for the strawberry shortcake and takes more than her share. We all take in a load of diet cokes and lemonade. I turned into the family ogre by turning down a chance to go on stage last year. Unlike Maya, I have no regrets, except for the glares from DW. It's a fun show and the food is good, well worth a visit i
  17. I have missed him too. Lou I am the beautiful, sexy lady you take shopping every December. (At least that is where everyone thinks we are). I will do my best to be back on this site more. It is nice to be missed though. I love you all (especially you Lou.... :jumpforjoy )
  18. WOW.....so many men fighting over the Princess Kimberly. She is now truly spoiled. LOL Yet, she remains the sweet, happy, singing Princess she has always been. I honestly can not imagine my life without her in it......and Shawnee and now Blake. We are so blessed. And we are doubly blessed to have friends like the fiends. We love you guys.
  19. Yes, I still live here......I hate allergies and the past 2+ years have been the worst. No break at all...not even with the snow. Then I managed to get a horrible cold that made every muscle in my stomach and chest hurt so bad I could hardly move. Then I started itching..from knees to neck....that went on for 3 months so I finally went to see my doctor. He gave me 2 shots and a Rx cream for the affected areas and it is almost all cleared up now. He, nor I, knows what caused it. There is never a dull moment around here. Last Sunday morning around 1 am our little baby's feeding tube cam
  20. Hope everything goes well for your little one. Please keep us posted. God Bless You all. :pope:
  21. Is the ride anything like a roller coaster. I can NOT ride roller coasters. Be honest. Thanks.
