"The DAS card is for people who have no apparent illness?"....our children certainly have apparent issues but we got the DAS cards anyway. They took their picture for their card, put their name on them and asked about how many people would be with each one of them. So I guess you do have to have an obvious illness/injury to get the card?

Our TA has already booked our premium site for 12/10 til January 5, 2015. She has also booked our daughter for 12/22 to 12/27 and will have the rest of her time booked soon. She has always been able to get our sites when we want them. Not sure why some can get them and some have to really work at it. That's just Disney, I guess.

I have one of the largest pin cases they have at WDW and it is pretty full. I have found the clutch type backs do not hold as well as the black Mickey Head shaped rubber ones. I have some large, heavy pins and the clutch backs would not hold them so I switched to the rubber ones and they are great. I now have to purchase another pin case for Kimberly's collection. Her lanyard is completely full and she has a bag full waiting for a place to show off.

Enjoyed the video of Barbara dancing. I love it when the CM's get into the spirit of Disney. We were there on the 30th but did not see the parade that day or Barbara. We are home now and missing Disney already.

I agree TCD...with that kind of money I would buy a cabin in the mountains so I could visit when there was snow and then go to Disney the rest of the time. :jumpforjoy

My TA has been able to get us 12/10/14 thru 1/5/15 and last week was able to book my daughter and her family 12/22/14-12/27/14 and expects to have her other 5 days booked soon. TA have ways of getting the time you want if you book far enough out. Good Luck and God Bless You.

We did not watch the taping or the televised one. We enjoy the ones in the afternoons or night. Still haveing fun here and the family will be here in a little while. Only 6 full days left of our 4 weeks at the Fort. Do NOT want to leave.

Speaking of napkins.....why did they do away with Disney ones? Now they are just the plain old ones. Money I guess.

I have been putting aluminum, glass and plastic in the recycling bins every day here. There is also a place for newspapers and cardboard. There are fewer trash cans however. Lots os recycling bins but few trash can in our loop (1400). Love this place except for the heat and the fact our site is not big enough for all the decorations. Are any of the Fiends planning to take part in the golf cart parade? We are!

Ours is on display at our site and one of the Ft. Employees wanted to know where we got it. I suggested he join the FF site. I told him he could get one made too. We LOVE ours. Warren is VERY talented.

I do not like bats....I will have no problem staying away from that area. However I do know they are great for getting rid of pesky mosquitos and other unwanted guests. Some friends of ours bought a wonderful old home in Athens, Ga. several years ago. It was a unique old farm house with hidden rooms, etc. One night K was in the bathroom and she saw something above her head and when she looked up she was starring right at a bat. Of course she let out this loud scream and her poor hubby came running, thinking she had fallen or even worse. When he found out why she was screaming he could not stop

we are her now and will try to get them for our children. We always like for them to visit the characters anyway. Thanks for letting us know.

We just checked in tonight. Got to the site around 5:30 and it took us nearly 3 hours to get the 12' trailer in and set up in a way we can get into it when needed and then get the RV in. While trying to move the trailer around (by hand because the wheel on the trailer hitch broke) Ken had to drive around the loop 3 or 4 times to let others pass by. But we got in and both of us are exhausted. We are in site 1441. We may be set up and decorated by Wednesday night.....hopefully. Tuesday night we have tickets to MVMCP. We have never been before. Wish we had room to bring one for you. We have an extra here at home. Believe it or not our RV is packed, the 12' trailer is filled to complete capacity as is the van.....just hoping there is room for me to get in to drive the van.

Well I hope his Fiend-Mingos is still there when we arrive Monday. :rofl3:

I guess I will have to make a trip to CVS tomorrow and see if they still have one. Should have gotten it the other night when I saw it.
