Wedway PeopleMover Limited Release Shirt on Sale at Disney Store Through July 5th, 2015   The Disney Store online released a second limited release t-shirt this week. The first was for the Harmony Barber Shop, and now the WedWay People Mover as it celebrates 40 years! Both shirts end on Sunday, July 5th and will take 3-5 weeks to receive. Even though the Wedway PeopleMover is now officially the Tomorrowland Transit Authority, I still call it by the original name. The shirts are mix and match, 2 for $44 (or higher each if purchased separately). These come in adult and kids sizes, and there is a poster for sale too. Each sale does help Mousesteps, thank you! Take a look at the back of the shirt on the Disney Store website as well.

    Canvas Prints  $120

    Posters $32

    T's start at $22.95

Sorry no pictures, I'm limited to what sites I can go to.

NBC to open first sports bar at Universal CityWalk

NBC Sports is getting into the bar business, opening its first NBC Sports Grill & Brew at Universal CityWalk this fall with a massive HD stadium screen more than 100 feet wide at the entrance, more than 100 beers and food prepared on open kettle grills. The company announced the move using its NHL team of sportscasters Liam McHugh, Mike Milbury and Keith Jones with McHugh looking like he was breaking to a live report about what 'our NBC Sports team is cooking up.' Universal Orlando Resort is part of NBCUniversal.
The eatery will be stocked with 100 HD TV screens that will play a constant stream of live sports content. NBC Sports Grill & Brew will be located right before the entrance of Universal Studios, where the former NASCAR Sports Grille was located before it closed in November.

Coming in 2016 is Universal Orlando's fifth on-site hotel, Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, and in the theme parks Skull Island: Reign of Kong promises a groundbreaking attraction in Islands of Adventure. And in 2017 will come Universal's Volcano Bay, an new water theme park experience.

    DISNEY BANS SELFIE STICKS
HOPE YOUR ARMS ARE LONG ENOUGH
Walt Disney World is banning selfie-sticks from its theme parks, citing safety concerns.
Under a new policy, which takes effect today, the poles won't make it past the bag check at any Disney World theme park.
The sticks also won't be allowed in Disney World water parks or DisneyQuest, a gaming attraction at Downtown Disney. 'We strive to provide a great experience for the entire family, and unfortunately selfie-sticks have become a growing safety concern for both our guests and cast,' Disney World spokeswoman Kim Prunty said.
The ban also begins at Disneyland Resort in California today, and at Disney's parks in Paris and Hong Kong on Wednesday. Guests will be checked for the equipment during the routine bag check that happens near the parks' entrances. They will have an option of turning in their selfie-sticks for pick-up later or to go back to their cars or hotel rooms to stow them. Visitors will be told of the policy in locations such as the parking lots and at the resort's hotels. The prohibition will also be on the park rules posted on Disney World's website. - Orlando Sentinel (TNS

I know you love your daughter, but with all you've had going on in your life, the trials and tribulations of purchasing the new camper, and now struggling with trying to find a truck, you just need to think of you and your husband, and just say NO to any pets.

She will get over it.  In a week or two (ok maybe a couple of months) she will be interested in something else.

You as the adult know what you will be facing now and in the long run. Training now, cleaning up messes, replacing chewed items, finding a sitter when you go on vacation, worrying about crating and being mean or coming home to a disaster zone, etc.  And if your kids are involved in any extra curricular activities, it's going to be harder to get free time as they get older.

Owning a dog and having young kids is not like the good old days of the Lassie TV show where Timmy just hung out after school on the farm and got into mischief (and fell down that stupid well for the 20th time), and ma and pa stayed home all day tending the farm and watching the dog.

Don't get me wrong, I miss our dog every day since he's been gone, but our life has been a lot simpler without thinking about who's going to watch the dog and feed the cat, since they've been gone.  Now we just have to get the kids to stop by and water the garden and mow the grass (easier said then done).

I think the laundries have been upgraded to credit cards.
Check out the evening wagon rides. Best bang for your buck at the Fort.
Explore everything at the fort. Make sure you dedicate a couple of Fort Days in your schedule.
The evening electrical water pageant is a must to see at the beach.
Bring all of your drinks. They are expensive at the Fort, especially adult beverages.
There is a post with address's and directions to nearby stores for supply runs.
If you are staying for an extended time, look into buying a portable ice machine.
If you purchase ice at the fort, get it from the trading post instead of the comfort station machines. It's a lot harder from the trading post and lasts longer.
Good ice chests are a must.
    Drink a lot of fluids
Wear light weight clothing. Denim is sturdy but hot.

You can make contributions to it with debit, credit or Disney gift cards.

My SIL opened one because she'd gotten some gift cards as gifts and didn't want to have to track them all individually.

Fort Desoto County Park in St Petersburg FL has some gulf side sites.  We camped there years ago, been trying to get back.

The person I bought my BAL from said this is a great place to go.

    It's near Jacksonville FL

Fort Clinch State Park2601 Atlantic Ave., Fernandina Beach, FL 32034. (904) 277-7274.

The campground features 61 sites in two separate campgrounds – 40 tree-shaded sites in the Amelia River Campground and 21 sites tucked behind the dunes on the ocean in the Atlantic Beach Campground.  Each site has a fire ring, picnic table, water and electric hookups. Each campground has its own dump station, soft drink vending machines and new bathhouses with showers and washing machines.  Pets are permitted in the campground. (Maximum RV length is 40 feet.)
Sites are $26 per night, plus tax.  50% off for Florida residents 65 or older, or if you are certified for federal disability.  Reservations accepted by phone, 800-326-3521, or online through ReserveAmerica.
Reserve early.  This park is on a beach, so you can expect considerable difficulty reserving a site in summer.  Winter can also pose a challenge, though less severe, because the campground is a pit stop for travelers heading south

Memorial Day weekend, we almost got ran into more than once by carts leaving the marina area after the beach party.

People just back up out of their spaces full speed without checking to see if anyone is behind them.

Then it's always like demolition derby time seeing who can outrun who  to get to the cart path first and how dare these people trying to walk around the circle in front of the Settlement Store!

HAHA!  I suppose it could be worse, right?  Our youngest had never had the pleasure of naming the dog and reminded us of that.  He claims Steve is named after Stephen Hawking....but I think it's probably Steven Seagal.  Another of our dogs, Chuck, was named by the oldest after Chuck Norris.  And my first dog out of college was named Falk after Peter Falk.  That was a mistake.  Standing in the back yard and calling his name got some rather odd looks from neighbors who were not quite sure of what they were hearing.  Eventually, he learned to come to "here boy."

I had read somewhere (blame the interweb) that drivers in most other countries back into places when they arrive.  It makes it easier to leave when you have to pull out into traffic especially if a lot of people are trying to leave at the same time like after a show/movie.

I rode my bike over to Downtown Disney from the Fort one time.

Used Disney Vacation Club Way past Saratoga Springs to get there, and came back Buena Vista Drive.

Traffic wasn't that bad back then.

I've roller bladed from the Dolphin/Swan around the back road past the Yacht/Beach Club over to the Grand Floridian.

That drop in the road where it goes underneath the water bridge to Epcot was a little hairy.

Also skated along the boardwalk and the sidewalk in front of the Yacht/Beach Club side.

I don't think they allow skating on the boardwalk or the sidewalk around the lake any more.

I made these to help my wife get in and out of the PUP.  The top step originally hade about a 6 or 7 inch drop.  We tried them over Memorial Day and they worked out great.

It was a quick down and dirty build.  I used whatever scraps of 2x4 and plywood I had lying around.  My full sheet of plywood was buried in the back of the shed and would've taken me longer to dig out than make the boxes.

Not knowing your exact situations, height of the trailer/rv, how many steps, width of the steps, etc... they all sound a little different.

There is a sling that goes underneath the dog, comes up the sides and has handles. Kind of like one of those canvas carries you use to bring firewood in from the yard.   You climb the stairs next to the dog and lift to help then feel confidant and take some of the weight off their legs.

One site lists them from $15 to $25.  Of course your step may be way too narrow for you and the pooch.

What about some sort of portable lifting platform?

I did a quick google search, there is a Genie lifting device.  Looks like a hand truck with fork lift arms and you crank it up and down.  Should be easy enough to build a little platform for the forks to go under, then just raise the platform from ground level to the doorway.  Again, since I don't know specs, I didn't do in depth research.

Have you checked the Instructables web site?

    http://www.instructables.com/

People show off what they have designed and built on there, usually they also have complete instructions.  Someone might've already tackled this problem and came up with a solution.
