Google Maps Street View of Disney
WannaBeImagineer replied to Travisma's topic in WDW and Disney Park Discussions
I just clicked on Epcot and the images are from February 2016. That means they've been sitting on this awhile. I thought I stumbled upon street view in the parks before but that was a while back. The next time I went looking for it, it was gone. WBI -
Tire recommendations?
WannaBeImagineer replied to geoffdaddy's topic in RV Repairs on the Road, at FW and Elsewhere
I hear ya on the instock issue, I just finished getting my from Wal-Mart, it was a night mare and I won't do it again. But they were only $67 each through Walmart and over $100 each at Sam's, no clue why. When I had my blow out, the Walmart we were heading towards had 2 in stock and put them on, balanced them and installed new partial metal valve stems. I figured when I got home I'd go get two more, but not so fast, evidently no Walmart within 200 miles of here keeps them instock, I was told to order them online and pickup in store. They had a 7 day delivery, then on the 7th day at 6p -

If the price is correct I would assume they are keeping the same food that they serve during the day and not improving the quality. I also wonder if they'll keep paper plates and cups? It could be a new type of cheap buffet they are trying. Think about it, if they put a drink station where you get your own drinks there would be no reason for servers, that would save them some money. Pay at the counter, get your cup and that's it. We have a pizza buffet here in town that works like that for lunch and it's great, you don't feel judged for the pile of plates on the table, lol. WBI

We've only been on the Wonder and the Fantasy but I full agree about the Wonder. After our Fantasy cruise, we loved the ship but didn't get the amazing service we had heard about, honestly we weren't hooked yet. After our Wonder cruise, completely different, we're hooked! We had amazing service everywhere, kids LOVED everything, we had the best cruise ever of any cruise line. I missed a few of the things from the Fantasy (aqua Duck, Skyline...) but we still would do it again in a heartbeat! WBI

No we stayed at Oakwood RV Resort. It was ok, it had quite a few people wintering there which I think would be great, the location was convenient to town. Honestly it was so cold this trip all we did was sleep there. We looked at the Yogi Bear park, and even drove by it while there, it looks pretty good with a new water area, but it was further from town than we wanted to be this trip. We thought about going to that one too, it looked real nice. Was there any issues with non-campers coming around since its an open park? WBI -

Sounds like a plan! We really had a good time, German food, beer, wineries, bbq, hiking, we did it all! We hiked to the top of Enchanted Rocks, I bet that place will be slammed for the Eclipse. Actually they've been closing before noon ever weekend lately to try and keep crowds down so I know it will be packed then. WBI -
Tire recommendations?
WannaBeImagineer replied to geoffdaddy's topic in RV Repairs on the Road, at FW and Elsewhere
Well I blew a factory original tire this past weekend during a thunderstorm on I-10 just getting into Houston...that was loads of fun, lol. Now I get to buy tires and a new fender. I made it to Fredericksburg with the spare where I went to buy four new Carlisles but after about 30 minutes they let me know they only had two. So I got to drive back home with two new and two old tires. I knew those tires were going bad, it's my fault for trying to get one more trip out of them, I won't make that mistake again. On another note, that was our first time to Fredericksburg, TX and we had -
Epcot's big update might include a name change
WannaBeImagineer replied to Travisma's topic in Disney Rumors Board
I'll add that the permit application was to amend the original permit which is the norm, I'm sure that old Epcot name has been on the plans for over 30 years. Just like if you pull up some recent SFWMD applications for Magic Kingdom they use old fonts, logos and names... They are going for clicks with this article for sure. WBI -

I was reading on the Keystone forum a couple weeks ago about a cheap tire at Wal-Mart that has great reviews. Carliisle, $67 for my trailer...I haven't tried them yet. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Carlisle-Radial-Trail-HD-Trailer-Tire-ST225-75R15-E-10/55012166 WBI -
I finally watched that movie last week, not too bad. WBI

New Ticket Language?
WannaBeImagineer replied to WannaBeImagineer's topic in Budget Board and Disney Discounts
Thanks Jason, now that you say that I think that's why I bought those tickets, they were the last of the no expire stock. WBI -
I was just on Undercover Tourist looking at purchasing some tickets and I noticed this language that's new to me: and ticket must be activated by December 31, 2018 for admission. This ticket will expire 14 days after first use. After December 31, 2018, you must exchange this ticket at Guest Services for admission (additional gate price may apply): Has anyone noticed that before? In the past I thought you could buy a ticket and keep it for years and it held its ticket status no matter what. I have two 7-day hoppers that we bought last year and I'm pretty sure they didn't say tha

Greenberg Rentals
WannaBeImagineer replied to Grumpy and Grandma's topic in Off Property Rentals (Non Disney)
I remember a couple years ago there was a group of those matching Catalina's in the loop with us and I was wondering what was going on. There was a ton of them and the campers had the small uhaul trailers with them, I guess some of the 2000 groups had upgraded to rentals. WBI -
Gift card for no maid service. Will you try it?
WannaBeImagineer replied to AuburnJen's topic in Resorts Board
I would do it sometimes. Can you choose which days to do it for a long stay or is all or nothing? Some Marriotts offer free points for this and I always opt for the points, but then again it's just me and the room stays a lot cleaner and there's plenty of towels when I'm traveling alone. Also Marriott let's you make requests in their app for house keeping items. WBI -
We've discussed emotional support animals in lots of threads so I wasn't sure where to put this so for now I'll place it here and someone else can move it if needed. Delta is taking a new approach to service and emotional support animals. http://news.delta.com/delta-introduces-enhanced-requirements-customers-traveling-service-or-support-animals-effective WBI

The Year In Review: DIT Takes Disney Love To A New Level In 2017
WannaBeImagineer replied to DaveInTN's topic in Trip Reports
So is that your favorite campground around there? We've never camped there but have looked at it a few times and I hadn't even heard of that one. Any suggestions around Austin also? Thanks! -

Dave, Is that the KOA next to the Grand Ole Opry? If so it has changed a lot since our overnight there in 2014! That pool looks great, it actually looks like you get more for your money now. WBI
