  1. That's a good looking Cougar. I like how you have the dark trim on yours. All of my trim is white and it stays dirty. WBI
  2. Yes it is! I like the mural on the wall in there though so I'm usually distracted by it. Cowboys with ants or something? WBI
  3. Count me as another person that watches that tiny house junk and doesn't get it. They could get something much nicer and more mobile if they'd by an RV. And most of those tiny houses don't have any tanks at all, dumb. I do remember one episode where the "realtor" showed them a fifth wheel and they kept saying they didn't want a trailer, dummies. WBI
  4. It looks like a bathroom floor. Maybe the Land Pavilion in Epcot? WBI
  5. In the movies he camped at a state park: http://beaches.lacounty.gov/dockweiler-beach/ or https://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=617 which has full hook ups. It doesn't turn to BS until he adds on to the trailer and makes it into a house in the third and fourth movies. WBI
  6. haha that KOA in the video is bad! I'm sure that KOA is near something people want to see so they keep it full. It actually reminds me of some of the rv parks around Pigeon Forge. WBI
  7. Great article! This really hits home with me, I grew up camping locally with my grandparents and hearing their stories of all of their North America camping trips. They would go for months at a time and rarely ever had reservations. Now when I tell Pop about the having to book a state park 11 months in advance he can't believe it. Not only do you have to book a year in advance you have to play the game of booking 14 days out or booking more than you need an canceling just to confirm you have your dates, if you don't check it at 7am on the dot sorry you won't be staying there next year.
  8. Great video thanks for posting here. I love all of the themeing, log fences, stumps, signs all of it, that still existed back then, not to mention the actual wilderness. WBI
  9. I'm bumping this post with an update. Today at my Sam's in south Louisiana they had $500 gift cards in stock. It's the first time I've ever found them at our store. The price in store is $474.98, that's a pretty good savings. They are also back in stock online but they are listed at $479.98 and you have to add $0.99 for shipping and they have a limit of one per order. I've been watching gift cards because for I used them for the first time to pay off my resort reservation. I ended up buying the 3-packs of $50 cards and consolidating them on the giftcard website before making
  10. Nothing like a salsa dance party in the public area behind a campsite to make you feel like you are really camping in the wilderness. WBI
  11. Don't feel bad he just said that Apple is looking to buy Disney... Well technically he re-posted a yahoo article but he still put it out there to get some clicks. http://wdwnt.com/blog/2017/03/apple-may-looking-buy-walt-disney-company/ WBI
  12. Not me We check in on the 13th but we aren't passholders any more. I was hoping we'd get to see a soft opening of Pandora but with all of these scheduled previews I'm starting to think we won't get a chance to see it this trip. WBI
  13. Great explanation and I agree when you compare to other resort campgrounds the prices are close. I really like camping, especially at State and National Parks, but when I go to the Fort it's for a different type of experience, I'm going for the Parks and the Fort Resort. I don't like how things have changed at the Fort but if I want to camp at Disney World that's where I'm going, it's still a great resort (not as good as it was but still good). And when I don't want to pay the crazy prices for a camping spot, I instead pay the crazy prices for a Disney resort room because I like Disne
  14. I'm a big fan of room service. Matter of fact we had room service every morning on our last two cruises. We would pre-order coffee and juices and small pastry's and enjoy it on the balcony first thing in the morning while getting ready! If I could start every morning like that I'd be in heaven! Luckily it sounds like that is still free. I also used room service when W was napping, because you know on a cruise I have to eat at least every 1-2 hours. :) WBI
  15. It looks like there are less benches also. Our last two trips were over Thanksgiving and with the old benches it was hard to find a seat, It looks like it will be worse now. WBI
  16. Wait a minute! When did the bear get taken out?!? WTFort How did I miss that? That SMB! I also think that's dumb about the benches, why do they keep replacing benches that are perfectly fine? The logs were still good, and the new woods were couldn't have been bad they are practically new, why spend money on new ones? WBI
  17. I've read it's because the old readers couldn't accept the cards with chips. You know how you have to insert them now. WBI
  18. It looks great, what's the little plaque at the top and is the round emblem at the bottom printed on the glass? WBI
  19. That's not a typo, it's on Disney's site under the construction details: For some reason they are choosing to give you $75 per night instead of discounting the rooms. WBI
  20. I posted a picture of the plan in this thread: But not WDWnt has a post about this rumor. http://wdwnt.com/blog/2017/03/rumor-10-story-tower-waterfront-dining-changes-coming-disneys-caribbean-beach-resort/ I personally think its true, you can see a building footprint that looks like a tower in the plan I posted. And all of the other things he mentions make sense with what's on the demo plans. WBI
  21. For what it's worth a facebook page I follow about the Wilderness Lodge (Humphrey's) said that the Salon was going in the Trout Pass Bar. I agree those interiors don't fit at all. The dresser looks like something from IKEA not out west. WBI
  22. Is it just me or does this campfire look like its back near someone's favorite morning spot? That would explain those campfire things they had there at one time. WBI
  23. Thanks for the heads up I was hoping for earlier soft openings, we'll be leaving on the 20th. WBI
  24. When I first started reading this I though you were going to be talking about how poor the website was. I was already to chime in and agree and talk about how it's like that with all resorts. For our upcoming trip I've been doing lots of research and found that their website doesn't have near the info that other private sites have in regards to the different room types. BUT then you took a turn in your narrative and showed those tents! That is outrageous! I don't get it, are they really spending that much money that the Fort caters to them? If they spend that much money why not setup
