Yes, Rey could understand a lot. Plus, her technical skills and she got pretty good real fast with that light saber. I think Luke had begun training her as a child when she then had to go into hiding. But she had no idea at the time that she was being trained in the force. Maybe Luke didn't tell her anything to protect her. Or maybe her memory of that was erased somehow. I don't know, I've been spending way too much time thinking about this movie. I do want to see it again for the scene where she touches the light saber. Everything went way too fast for me.
I also loved the line when C3pO says "you probably don't recognize me because of this red arm..."

I think Han is gone for good. He didn't have the force so no chance of any Obi-wan or Yoda type appearances. And Harrison Ford wanted out in Return of the Jedi.
I think Rey is Luke's daughter. I remember Ren saying that this was the girl he had heard so much about. I think Luke had put her into hiding before he had started training Ren. Then maybe he spoke of her to his nephew. Only trouble I have with that is that Jedi aren't supposed to have close relationships so I don't know how he would've produced her.
I wondered if Finn could be Lando's son. All we know is that he was taken from his family. It seems like something the first order would do, steal children from their enemies. Actually, maybe that's why Rey was hidden, so the First Order wouldn't find her.
Can't wait to find out how Ren got Vaders mask. Maybe from an ewok?

I think you should have gone to the front desk and asked for the full instructions for the kettle.
It reminds me of a story my friend told me. After her grandmother died they were going through her house and she had saved the instructions for everything, including her bath mat. Yes, her bath mat.

Thankfully they were much better than Dunkin Donuts.  And a lot more expensive.

I know this is too little too late but if you ever have wet sneakers again, stuff them with newspaper overnight. In the morning they will be completely dry.  I speak from personal experience!!

We went around that time this past year. It was very manageable. I think it would be overwhelming for a first time visitor but if you're a veteran you know where to go and what to do, so you should be fine.

I love that you are posting the menus from each night. It inspires me to make some exotic dinner for my family. On the other hand I'll probably just go with mac and cheese.

I am in! We were at BLT in February of 2011 also, but at the end of the month. We had lake view, loved sitting on the balcony watching the boats come and go :)

That is....interesting. None of it seems to go together. It reminds me of a wedding gift we got. It was a small bouquet of artificial flowers but the bottom of it had prongs sticking out. We were like "what the heck is it?" We finally decided it was a cake topper. Weird.
And TCD, I go to work today and come home to so many updates, I can't keep up! I am not complaining but I am wondering how you have time to write all this...do you post from your work? I also have to tell you that I chuckle so much while reading your posts that my daughter had to see for herself and now she is addicted to TCD trip reports. She is in awe of the things you are able to sneak pictures of.
I have seen PUSH the trash can in action. I witnessed him challenge a guy in a wheelchair to a race, which they did, but the guy in the wheelchair almost hit a bench. I think maybe PUSH should be stopped before he kills somebody. But I think the idea of him with Walt's head is inspired.
