Wow.  Very snarky.  You are coming along nicely.

Are you Chuck?  If so, thank you for correcting those two big boo-boo's in your article.  You still need to fix the one about the 50 amp service.

Those two big boo-boo's were in the article when I read it and when I made that post. I assure you that I am pretty good at reading and paying attention to details.  The article has since been corrected.

Dave is right. It will transport the beer to the 3000 loop from the remote storage facility. It,was going to be an above ground pipeline, but the environmental impact study showed that it would interfere with the armadillo migration.

If it were the 3000 loop I'd say it was the underground beer lines. But in 1700 I have no clue.

I'm lucky to plan two months in advance.... no way I can do two years. I will say, though, that it's always good to get the reservation as soon as you have firm dates. The Fort books up so fast.

The TCD gang squeezed in a day trip to WDW on 3/17/13. We have been super busy lately, and have to go when we can.
Spring Break is coming up, and for the first time in a long time, there will be no Fort stay for us.
We headed East at around 8:20 am, and arrived at WDW a little after 10. We stopped for a quick bite of breakfast at the WL.
    Spring has sprung there:

The twins decided to take the bus to Epcot, while I moved our car to the Epcot parking lot.
They saw this CM at the WL bus stop. He was tracking all of the buses. It seemed like his job was to reassure guests that their buses would be here soon. We've never seen that before:

The girls got a few shots of the Fort from the bus.
    Here are the horses:

    And the Outpost Bus Stop:

You can see from that last shot and the next one that all of the pretty flowering plants around the sidewalk between the bus stop and the old kennel have been cut back. You can see that they are just starting to regrow. You can also see the stupid Four Season crane in this photo:

The trail rides must have already begun for the day, as there were a lot of folks in that area:

    The Reception Outpost building:

We met back up at Epcot, and headed to Test Track to get Fastpasses.
Then, we headed to the old Wonders of Life pavilion, which is being used as the Flower and Garden Festival Headquarters:

Since this building is no longer used during regular operating times at Epcot, we had to go in and check on things.
They had some merchandise for sale in there and a few displays, but not much of interest.
They do offer seminars, and this one seemed to be very well attended. These folks were planting something in a flower pot:

We didn't stay in the old Wonders of LIfe building for very long.
We picked up Festival guidemaps and passports in there, and headed outside to find a place to sit and study them.
    Hey a butterfly! :

A butterfly and a duck butt:

After studying the map, we decided that we would go see the butterfly garden and then head into the World Showcase to see some of the displays that were new this year.
We walked around the MouseGear building. They had a large playground area here:

We had heard that there was a Radiator Springs area this year, but didn't know that it was here:

These topiaries have been used at past Flower and Garden Festivals, but they did a great job staging them here:

It used to be a rare thing to see people using iPads as cameras. Now it's not:

    KA-CHOW!:

There was an interactive element to this display, There were "engine parts" hidden in the display:

I think the stuff hanging up here represents what we were supposed to look for in the display. As you can see, they took car parts and made them into things that you find in a garden:

    Look, another iPad photographer. Sheez!:

On the way to the butterfly garden, we passed by the Lion King topiaries. I wanted Twin #1 to hold up Twin #2 like Baby Simba, but they wouldn't cooperate:

So, here we are at the butterfly house. For the first time in a long time, it's not Bambi themed:

No deer, skunk or bunny this year. It's all fairies:

You know what we didn't see a lot of in the butterfly house?
    Butterflies.
I guess they're not done yet?
    Maybe later?
The flowers outside looked great, though:

There were a couple more fairies outside:

In past years, they had a Fairy meet and greet at Epcot for the Flower and Garden Festival. But not this year. Which is odd, since the butterfly garden is fairy themed.
We are at the photo limit for this post.
We will pick up in the next one as we enter the World Showcase and take a look at the featured topiaries at the World Showcase entrance.

I for one understand the rules and actually like it. Last time we went to the fort we were at one of our favorite sites 813. The neighbors actually had a huge tent set up behind our site and they must have had at least 14 people on the one site and the numerous tents set up behind them and us along with a huge utility trailer. The best part of the trip was them realizing the checkout time the day they were to leave. We have never seen 14 idiots run and throw stuff in the RV and trailer so fast. The old man even slipped on the pooper hose and got coverd with crap. I had to laugh. The CM afterwards told me they were the worst group she has seen in years. Everthing these days have rules. Some we may not like and some we do, but if we don't own the place, we can't make our own rules. I feel bad for larger families or groups where getting everything on the pad will be tight and uncomfortable, but you can always reserve 2 sites.

We park our galvanized tow dolly in the overflow lot when we're at the Fort... I don't have an issue with parking it there. I do lock it up and get a parking pass from the front desk for it as long as its parked in the overflow.... The way I look at it, locks just keep the honest folk at bay. If a thief wants something, they are going to get it whatever the cost...

A major inconsistency that I have seen is that since all of the underbrush was cleared, folks set up tents and screen rooms wherever they please.
So, one strategy to help make space for vehicles, carts and trailers would be to pull your picnic table off the pad, and set it up somewhere near your site.
Likewise, if you have space, you could set up your tent off of your pad, and keep your other stuff on the pad.
They used to strictly enforce the one vehicle per site rule.
    But not anymore.
Now you can have whatever you want, as long as it's on the pad.
I agree- if these are the rules, and they are uniformly enforced, I have no problem with this.
