  1. We bought tickets online from Fandango (I think). Just be careful you buy for the right day!
  2. I would imagine most of the surrounding campgrounds have storage capabilities. I know the Thousand Trails in Clermont does, but I don't know if you have to be a member to use it.
  3. Let us know! The more we talk- the more it seems my wife enjoyed it, but she also hasn't asked for the soundtrack which surprises me a little. Newsies on the other hand- she's head over heels in love with. :)
  4. If you're using the Tapatalk app, it can be pretty easy to post photos from your phone. There can be a 1-time extra step il depending on how your phone is. But, here's how I do it: 1) Click the plus in a circle to reply (on mine, it is in the lower left corner) 2) Then, if you want to take a photo, touch the icon that looks like a camera. If you want to pic a photo that you already took (most likely), touch the icon look is a box with what looks like a moon and mountain range in it. That might be it. But, it you get an error that it is too large, you'll need to change how the upload is
  5. I agree that it has to be possible, but.... If this guy really did fall overboard, I'm betting copious amounts of alcohol or other inebriating substances were consumed. :)
  6. A large wave knocked him overboard?!?!?! The open decks are WWWWAAAAAAYYYYYYY above sea level. Sounds fishy.
  7. And that's why I rarely drink when I'm out. :) I was always shocked and appalled when my friends would go to baseball games and proceed to get drunk. I just couldn't imagine the hundred dollars spent on crappy beer!
  8. Sadly we continued to have slide junk throughout the trip and eventually lost another antler. But, such is life. Thanks! It was really almost a waste of money. I wanted to spend more time at the fort and the wife wanted to check out some of the resorts. We lost all of our looping time to that- but it was a nice splurge. Nah, entirely different but still a nice site. We backed up to the gate house in F8 this time up at the very "front"(?) of the park. I basically asked for something that was easy to park and had some room for the kids to run. They picked a good one for me.
  9. Ok, so moving right along. This may be the quickest TR ever since I'm OCD and tend to be manic when I start something. (or, I'll get 1/2 way through and there will be a 6-month lull.) We were finally able to depart Dillon, SC and hit Home Depot. While I went in search of some long bungees and/or an alternative to cutting a 2x4, my wife and kids went shopping for Christmas decorations. I couldn't help but think of Lou as they came back with a Santa on a stick and our very first Santa inflatable. It's official- I'm a fiend. Pics later of that. Driving was pretty uneventful. I enjoyed ano
  10. You're the official start of page 2. :) And, I always had what I thought was an irrational fear of dropping my keys down one. Ironically, I was wearing a hoody with the big pocket across the front; that is what I thought my downfall was going to be. Instead, it was a good old-fashioned right hand to left hand switch and fumble. Perfect swish through the grate, though... I think they open at Easter. But, if I know my wife- she'll try to get us down to Williamsburg again for our school's Easter/Spring break. In Circle M, we're close enough to be invaded by family; in Williamsburg, we'll b
  11. We did a helicopter tour out of Clermont this past summer. I'll have to see if I caught anything good from that - I'll admit, there was a ton of spray and pray photographing going on.
  12. Post the pix please. She just flashed me on her phone, but I'll look for something like it. I think this was it: From: http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2011/06/vintage-walt-disney-world-sunset-boulevard-emerges/
  13. Nope. I liked it too. I hope they are just moving it. Me too. It's all we know. Though my wife did show me a pic of an aerial view of DHS without it and you can really see the Mickey head shape.
  14. We call it an adventure! It's always an adventure... Fortunately, we traveled a LOT. 2,500 miles round trip.
  15. You are first! We fought with the slide each day until it magically decided to start working. But, by then we were headed home and I stopped trusting it so we stopped using it. I'll explain more later. My daughter is coming up to be a 10 year cancer survivor if my math is right. I love you signature line. I literally walked out in time to see one of the guys ask the others "how in the hell did they do this?" I had to laugh as I walked up to them. Fortunately, the rest tames out quite a bit (except for the pig). Hola! Thanks. Fortunately, while we still had some issues- th
  16. I'm fairly certain that this is my first Trip Report. This is hard for me- I take a lot of pictures and usually am VERY wordy. The initial plan was that we would leave our house in Maryland and head straight to Key West, FL. But things change... first my wife wanted to be able to make one of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parties. That pushed our departure timeline up so that we'd be driving on my daughter's birthday and she asked that she isn't stuck in the truck the whole day of her birthday. That pushed our timeline up another day BUT I also had to keep my time off of work to a minimum (lu
  17. No kidding. I hit a guy hard enough last year to flop his sunglasses off of his head. I don't think they got ran over surprisingly and they didn't stop the ride!
  18. Thanks for this reminder. I really want to locate my wife and my's monolith. We got it done on our honeymoon in 2001. :)
  19. I have to say, Jack Skellington was quite good at people interactions too. Not quite as good as this Gaston- he's just fun to watch. :) Where is he at? I can see us stopping to chat with him next time we're down in Feb.
  20. We saw a bunch of $1.99/gallon along I-95 when we came home over the last couple of days. The cheapest I got diesel was $3.06 (with my Flying J RVer card which gives a few cent discount from the cash price). I think I saw $2.99/gallon but we weren't ready for a stop. We were also targeting Pilot/Flying J truck stops as they're the most convenient because I can activate the pump without sending my wife inside.
  21. I know I'm resurrecting an old thread, but thanks for asking and thanks for the answers. When we upgrade to APs this year, we talked about the ones that offer the water parks and Disney Qwest was included but we weren't sure what it was. It sounds like it is a big Dave and Busters type of place. I know it costs to get in (except we'll have APs). Are the games then additional cost?
  22. We just drove from Baltimore to Orlando and then onto Key West score heading back to Baltimore. Heading down, we actually stopped at a Walmart in Dillon, SC that was overnight parking friendly. We were able to finish the drive off and arrived late the next day for our stay in Clermont, FL. We spent two nights at John and Penny Thompson Memorial Park in Miami before heading down to Key West. I'd stay there again. Coming home, we stopped again at Pecan Park RV in Jacksonville, FL. A little expensive for an overnight but very easy getting around and concrete sites. After that, we spent the nig
