From what I understand, the actual reason the headless horseman is not riding this year is that, after many years without a head and no financial means to get a head, under Obamacare his pre-existing condition can no longer keep him from getting insurance. So he got coverage, and he recently underwent surgery to get himself a head.

In any case, Disney fired him.

I have another beverage tip for hot days at the MK. Before you leave the Fort in the morning, take a bottle of water and drink it. Fill the empty bottle with vodka and take it into the park. Drink the vodka about 30 minutes before riding Small World. Those little dancing dolls will be really freaking hilarious to you.

Those look like the yellow lights they put on utility vehicles and on the large utility carts that collect the trash and clean the sites. I can't imagine the sight of dozens of those things navigating the path by the Settlement after fireworks in the evening. Would look like giant lightening bugs have invaded the Fort.

Something was mentioned about a range. Is it in the Orlando area and can anyone attend or is it a memebers only thing. While I am not political about my gun ownership, I do believe in being prepared with popular calibers and reliable manufacturers, for when the Zombies come.

After Marty's post on the Dinner thread earlier, I checked out some of her links and did some shopping.
I now have three meals prepped...all in under an hour.
We are having Teriyaki Chicken tomorrow (bought the Publix breasts on sale).
We will also be trying Pulled Pork tacos and Beef Stroganoff this week.

I think I've got the toilet thing figured out. When the slide is in it flushes into the black tank. when the slide is out, it drops out a hole in the bottom of the slide, and you just put a bucket there to catch it. Pretty simple, and will make a nice conversation piece there under the awning. Y'all may call that weird, but here in Tennessee we just call it plumbing.

One of the best parts of the weekend was seeing our girls enjoying THEIR fiend friendships. It is so nice that my girls and Kelly enjoy spending time together...and Stella had a blast with the rat pack of little Fiends.

So happy to see new members! And the difference here compared to other forums, is that it really doesn't matter whether you were here on Day 1 or if you just joined last week...every one can fit in and post to their heart's content. Every opinion is valued. Every member should feel ownership of this site, and that sense of ownership leads to a family environment. We have folks that joined a week ago that are so involved in the site already that they are putting out the welcome mat for those joining today. Think about that....pretty amazing!
