Or get an electric kettle. Something like this:

I use one for French Press Coffee. Also used one like this to make my wife hot tea in the Hospital after she had a procedure. Nursing staff was in Awe.

    That makes sense
Halloween has become THE time to be at the Fort and the decorations outpaced Christmas a while back and seem to just keep growing.  Some of the displays are pretty amazing. Where Christmas can be lots of lights and blowups, Halloween really seems to bring out the super creative in people.
My guess is you're right about the cart, especially around Halloween when the place is already full and crazy. And ON Halloween... fuggeddaboutit
Since Halloween has gotten so busy over the years, it seems like every year there's at least an incident or 2.
And my guess is some of them definitely involve adult beverages.

I think it's actually been even longer than that (4-5 years?).  We were there right after that rule went in effect and it was hit or miss enforcement even then.
We haven't been during the holidays since 2016 but it was our go-to time for a bunch of years prior to that.  Not sure about the last couple of years, but we'd noticed there were a good bit fewer Christmas decorations than there were when we first started going that time of year (2006).
On the flipside, it seems like Halloween decorations have increased by quite a lot over those 10 years.

Heads up that with all the resort stops, it's a fairly slow ride, so I wouldn't go that route if you're in a rush.
We've walked it and beat the boat more than once.

Figured I should update with the 2 weekend trips under our belts.
While I have a CDL and love driving trucks, and how much I loved 5th wheel towing and the power of the dually and driving the 2 Super Duty trucks we had, everything about our traveling has changed.
There is absolutely no comparison to having the party start once you pull out of the driveway! No more waiting for the relief of the weekend until you arrive, its happening as soon as we shut the garage door.
Got stuck in an hour long traffic jam. My wife made food and I cranked up the Sirius radio through my phone app and we had a great time.
I truly can't believe how much easier the motorhome is to travel in with no bathroom breaks necessary and to have the ability to get snacks and to pet the dogs or whatever. I don't have to move the dogs back and forth, or the kennel in and out of the truck.  My wife no longer has to pack road snacks and coolers,  or move pillows and blankets The dogs can get comfy on the floor anywhere.
Setting up camp is backing in, hitting the auto level and putting out the usual gear.  Leaving is just as easy, crank it and go.
The ride is no contest better than the truck and 5th wheel.  All of the bumps I used to picture the wheel breaking off the camper is soaked up with ease by the motorhome, even thought it's a leaf spring coach. Also, g rated tires on 22.5 wheels definitely eased the blowout gear from the trailer (though that can happen to any vehicle)
I did the "Cheap Handling Fix" with the sway bars and it drives so much better than the way home from Georgia. One hand steering now.
The views are unbelievable with the huge windshield.   When we came through Wytheville, VA on the way home it was like watching a movie with the mountains rolling ahead and we saw a fully grown pumpkin farm in the morning mist, truly a new sight we hadn't ever seen on a route we've driven a dozen times.
Fuel mileage is back to exactly what it was with the 2008 v10 we used to tow with, but the difference is now I drive an f150 that gets 8 mpg better when going to work. Insurance for the truck went down 200 a year, the 5th wheel was 100 a year and the motorhome is 500, so it is costing about 200 a year more for insurance.
Travel time is definitely reduced with an 80 gallon tank and limited need for stops.
Never say never, but I'm not sure we could go back to towing.

BradyBzLyn...Mo reacted to Beckers in Prime Now review
We use prime now at home a lot (my only store choice here is Whole Foods), $35 and over and you get free delivery (a 2 hour window). My parents are in Disney for 10 days so we wanted to have some stuff for them in the room. You can shop from “amazon” or Whole Foods. If you pick stuff from both stores you have to spend $35 at each store to get free delivery with your prime membership. I ordered them stuff from amazon only and was able to get them water, soda, crackers, cookies, etc. we did place an order for a block of cheese (which amazon sent shredded instead but refunded as soon as I contacted them) but it doesn’t come with a cooler pack, it was in a like bubble wrap bag but it wasn’t cold. The stuff was out for delivery for about 90 mins so I’m not sure how anything that’s really temperature sensitive would do. They had bell services deliver it since they had cases of water/soda and there is supposedly a $6 charge for them to bring it to their room. Even with the charge it’s still a huge savings.

Effective for all reservations made with outside vendors (strollers, scooter rentals, and other things) on or after October 1st you will have to meet the vendor to receive your item. This is for all vendors at all Disney owned resorts.

No word yet if this includes food type deliveries. This information is from Kingdom Strollers

Saw this today and though I would share here. I do not know for certain if this new set up will apply for the Fort but from the way things are described is sounds like it will. It's about halfway down the page but I copied the section here.

    re: tire changing, funny story...
One of my most memorable childhood family vacation stories is the time my parents rented a MH to take us 3 kids and my grandparents to FL. Somewhere in NC with Mom driving, we blew a tire.  It was an inside tire and Mom drove a school bus for a bunch of years, so that part was really no big deal.  She got us safely to the side of the road, we flagged someone down (this is pre-cell phones) so my dad could get to the nearest pay phone to call a tow truck.  A van full of people pulled over with an a/c unit out the side and a big recliner in the back.  (My sister and I still joke that we never thought we'd see dad again)
It eventually took 3 trucks to change the tire... the first one they sent was too small.  The second one got stuck in the soft shoulder.  The third one came, pulled the 2nd one out and changed the time quickly and easily.
Running family joke is "how many tow trucks does it take to change a tire in NC?"

It's a great show, much better in person.
The Blogs camera work has improved the last couple of years, but it's still not as good as being there.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party nights have returned to Magic Kingdom Park, and this year, one event offering wowing guests is the brand-new nighttime fireworks show, “Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular.”
Today, we’re happy to share that Inside Disney Parks is just moments away from live streaming “Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular.” Our stream will begin at 10:10 p.m. ET, right here.
In the new show, Jack Skellington from Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” comes to tell a “not-so-scary” story about how anything can happen on Halloween night. Jack’s ghost dog, Zero, flies off carrying everyone along on a trick-or-treat adventure, where Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy find themselves drawn into a mysterious haunted house. They encounter dancing skeletons, waltzing ghosts and a whole series of troublemaking Disney villains along the way.
Of course, you can also catch “Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular” in person by attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Find details on that here.
