  1. I'm so nauseous at the possibility of this. But... mom really wants to do it and how do I say "no" to celebrating their anniversary. I don't, of course, but I may need to start drinking... or there might be videos of the family getting on the ship, except me: still on the dock. Yeah... I'm just not going to think about it.
  2. Ugh. That really stinks, for both the driver and the other RV owner. No fun on the traffic jam either
  3. I think so. I was looking at one, on a site, a couple of weeks back. I like how bright they are. I don't have a cricket (which is what I think a lot of "crafty" people use), but I imagine I could buy a vinyl decal for not too expensive.
  4. Well, I'll be honest and say.... we have done that. Had to park our huge girl in the overflow, while waiting for our site, and there were several utility trailers taking up RV spots. We simply moved one a spot over, so it was sharing with another utility trailer.
  5. Oh my gosh... hearing you talk about these ride (the Bobsleds, AIW, Storyland) brings back SO MANY memories!! ❤️ Bummer on the sub smelling yuck. I loved that ride growing up (wasn't the Nemo theme but still...).
  6. We use EEZTire and have been very happy with it. We purchased ours off Amazon a few years back.
  7. That stinks. Saw a FB post where someone else had their solar tiki torches stolen as well. I just don't understand taking something that is not yours. Happy to hear that the property (overall) was calmer. That's a nice change.
  8. Awesome report, thank you!! LOVE all the pictures! Very cool on the CMs with the tape and the water. I would be embarrassing to watch... to say the least. Haha The "service animal"... yeah, not cool. Yes, you know it's a busy day at the MK, if the PM has a line That ride is seriously my favorite. If Disney ever went back to ride tickets, it's the only one I would buy ❤️ Thanks again for the report!!
  9. Ugh... so sorry to read this. I agree on the roads. Some of this country, the roads are insane. I would recommend that no one EVER drive on I20 in Louisiana. Pretty sure that's the section of the state, that broke our leaf spring weld last Spring. Ridiculous. Pray the rest of the trip is damage free!!
  10. I saw some FB posts from the Fort. Tom and I were commenting that the Fort is the only place where we leave our awning out/open (strapped down, but still left open), because we've never experienced any high winds there. The pictures we saw were crazy! So thankful that no one was seriously injured. Same here. If possible, we try to avoid spots that have branches hanging over our rig or leaning/dead trees in the area.
  11. It's been so long since I've been back to Disneyland. Our family used to camp there too... but that was at a campground across the street from Disney that I think is now a parking garage. Those were the days of the E ticket and then the card you wore on your wrist to go on a ride. I've been back since then, but that trip was at the beginning of our marriage... 20 years ago. We're saving up for a West Coast trip next year; I'm considering a stop at DL, but I'm not sure as it will only be one or two days. It will be interesting to hear of your experience. How were the lines? Hotel or
  12. The rig is slated to go to IN, July 15th. We'll be in KY at that time, so we've agreed to allow their transport to pick it up and deliver it. I will completely empty out the rig and take a ton of pictures and video. I've selected Monday the 15th (the 14th would actually work better for us), as this way they driver should be able to drop it off with Keystone...the same day. I will pick up the rig in IN (staying the night at Keystone, so I can check this over). I plan to call/email ever few days (once they've taken possession of our rig,) as I've heard horror stories of Keystone ta
  13. Okay... just realized that last Monday was the 6th, so I could have just said Monday. Goodness... this past week was crazy busy; feels like we left FL weeks ago. LOL
  14. Oh... sorry! Meant to mention that. That was going on when we were there on Monday (the 6th). The worker we asked said the road and a couple of sites were getting a face lift.
  15. Yep... which is probably why no particular "manufacturer" is overly concerned, if they put out junk. Mo... congrats on the camper!! Enjoy!!
  16. Agreed. Inflation at Disney has been crazy over the past 5 years.
  17. Of course...Disney knows how to make money, no question.
  18. Currently visiting the Fort today (breakfast at TE). Spoke with Mark (management) in the barn....the new barn is going in behind the 700 loop. They are scheduled to be over there, by September. Pony rides are currently up front, but will come back down once the new barn is in place however...the pony paddocks are not being rebuilt. The ponies will have room, in the new barn. The new barn will be slightly larger to accommodate the ponies and each draft will have his own run out. Mark also said that he’s been told that a new bike/jogging path between the Fort and the Lodge is supposed
  19. Still outside of the parks, eh? I’m wondering how enforcement of this new policy is going 🤔
  20. That's my thought. It's not the new resort that I don't like... it's the fact that it took out the bike path our family loved so much and the fact that it will literally, blend into the Fort. Kind-of like the new stores at DTD. Think about it before and what it is now, that's kind-of how I see the Fort. Lots of folks like the new DTD (Disney Springs), but I personally liked the old one. Except the extra parking now is nice My favorite time at the Fort, has always been sunrise (actually, it's my favorite time of the day anywhere ). I loved walking around the Settlement, sitting down wit
