I may be the odd one out.... but I love the idea of Dapper Day.  My mother use to tell me that when she was little, going to Disney was a big deal.  You wore your Sunday best.  I wish we still had that respect.

We may purchase a Peachpass... anything to get us to the Fort (even a few minutes) faster :)

Tough thing about that... is rude people (unfortunately) can happen in any loop    Just because people have an RV or cabin, it doesn't mean that they use it to "talk".  Now, an RV/cabin might help you sleep a little (if your A/C is very loud)... but rude people can sit outside their RV and "talk" for hours...and hours... and hours.  
 
Next time, try calling the front desk and ask them to give a courtesy visit to the neighbors.  Doesn't always help, but it can.

Hate those type of roads.  Tom got a ticket several years on a similar stretch of road in Georgia; ironically he too was on his way to Disney (mtg us as we have driven ahead b/c he had to stay and work a couple of extra days).  The ticket was ugly, ugly, UGLY.  Personally, I think if roads are not well marked, then it should be illegal to give out a ticket.

It amazes me, how people seem to have forgotten about that day.  How America has not closed her boarders, is beyond me...but I guess that's a conversation for a different post.

I'm sure this has been outlined here on Fort Fiends before, but (apparently) I missed it or was not paying attention because I did not know this:
 
Did you know that after you’ve used the 3 initial Disney FastPass+ experiences you selected at one park, you could visit aDisney FastPass+ kiosk location at a different park and select an additional one, and that each time you use that additional one you can select another at that park?
 
Disney sent me their standard survey after our visit last week and this was one of the questions.  I knew that you could get a 4th pass, after you used your first 3, but I did not know that you could do so at a different park... and then pick another at that park once you used the 4th FP.  Then again, we don't park hop so not a huge thing for us and after 3 FPs we're usually ready to head back to the Fort anyway    However... passing it along in case those of you who do park hop, missed this update as well :)

I'm thankful that I have 4 loads of laundry, laying on my kitchen floor.... as this means that we are blessed with clothes, sheets and towels.
I'm thankful that even though it appears that the thermostat for our transmission cooler may be going out.... that we made it home safely yesterday.
I'm thankful that our little camper is filthy... as this means that we are blessed with a camper.
I'm thankful that even though we were busy, and not around much.... that we still got a chance to meet several Fiends this trip.
I'm thankful that my little ones may have dirt under their toes and fingernails for a week... because this means that they had a lot of fun playing while camping.
I'm thankful that my own feet may be stained dirty for that same week... as this means that it was sunny and I got to wear flip flops our entire vacation :)
I'm thankful that I have to remove the perishables from our trailer... as this means that we had enough food to eat while we were gone.
I'm thankful that I am emptying out our "vacation piggy".... as this means that our hard work to save paid off and we'll have no debt from our 10 day trip.
I'm thankful that my husband is at work today and that I am strong and the kids are doing great.... as this means we didn't come home worn-out or sick.
I'm thankful that I miss my family terribly (they joined us for this trip)... as this means that I am blessed with a wonderful family.
