That's ok. Great pix. I was looking at them and it took me back to last week when we were still there. My DD just asked if we can go back next month. I said yes and then reality struck me and I had to say no. Lol

We were planning on being at clementines this evening but DD's situation is forcing us to stay in.
But it's ok. I'm at the world with my two best girls on our 13th anniversary. I'm so blessed to be married to my beautiful bride for 13 years tonight. I love you so much.

For one night. If I remember correctly when the fronts desk gives us a parking pass for the car it's only for the length of our stay.
I guess I'm still confused. Why would you pay for a campsite $50 plus off season to get free park parking ($15) and one night of extra magic hours. Oh and use Disney transportation. Wait if your doing it for the free parking you won't need the Disney transportation.

This was a pretty short trip....4 or 5 days IIRC.  I don't remember how many park days we did, but I don't think we did any parks besides MK.  Our girls were little, and it was a quick boat ride from the WL. 
 
Our typical routine on this trip was....we'd hit the MK in the morning, then go back to the villa in the afternoon so Izzy could take a nap.  While she was napping, I would take the 2 older girls downstairs to the pool. 
 
So, after the nap and pool time, we headed back to the dock and caught the boat back to the MK.  I had made a dinner ADR at Crystal Palace...a first visit there for any of us. 
 
I booked this meal because my girls were big Winnie the Pooh fans.  And we were not disappointed with the character time at dinner!

I wish I had at least 1 or 2 pictures of the buffet.  These days I'd photograph every inch of it.  But that would never occur to me when using film.  In any case, I remember being quite pleased with the selection at dinner there, and we've been back since.  It's been a few years now, so I'd like to get back at some point. 
 
That is all I have for this day.  In the next update, we return to Toontown we even more children.

We are so excited, DW and I are surprising DD. but I almost blew it while talking to Jason. Lol.
We are going to try to get her reaction on tape when we tell her. She's going to go crazy. She loves Disney as much as I do.

Just finished putting up both trees and strung lights around the big picture window. All blue. She loves the solid blue lights. I even put up the smaller white tree with all blue lights.
I'm also going to be watching the Disney vacation planning CD when she gets home. It's from 2008. I wish I had a newer one.
I hope this puts her over the top!
If this doesn't work I don't know what will.

I called Delta and they will change my flights if my DW says yes. I'm a medallion member and so "changes are no proble sir". She called me sir. Lol. She must of thought I was Lou or TCD.
My DW still hasn't said to pulled the trigger but she's definitely ready to say yes.
Keep the positive thoughts coming.
DD has rehearsal tonight andots DWs turn to take her. so I'm going to put up both are Christmas trees and as many of the indoor decorations as i can to surprise her when they get home. Normally I take care of the outdoor decorations and she takes care of the inside. I think this might get her into the Christmas mood and hopefully the Disney Christmas mood.

My guess is Busch gardens in Tampa. They have some really cool coasters.

Ok. Lets begin with the fact that Disneyland is about 40 miles from Pasadena CA which translates to about an hour drive with no traffic. So you need to decide if you want to stay near the Pasadena or Disneyland. If you choose Disney, which I recommend, you will fly into John Wayne, SNA. I would recommend the embassy suites north, not the one right next to Disney because its more economical, free mangers reception, and they have a free shuttle to Disney. Yes you will need a car. Regardless of where you decide to stay. Hotels in and around Pasadena will be expensive and probably sell out quickly. If you want to stay near Pasadena fly into Burbank. It's a lot closer than LAX its a lot closer than lax. You might want to consider staying at one of the front gate properties. Disneyland is not like the World in that there are hotels right outside the front gate of the parks. They will run you about the same as the embassy suites but you'll only get two beds not two beds and a pull out sofa in another room. But from the best western at the front gate you can almost see the line of people waiting to enter the park. So it depends on what you want... Close proximity and being able to walk into Disney or comfort, free booze and a nice shuttle bus.
I grew up at Disneyland and know it probably as well as you know disneyworld so ill try to help as much as I can. Have fun and its about time you take those poor disney deprived girls to Disneyland. Lol

Ok not really. I just wanted to be different. They are a lot of fun for driving around the loops looking at the decorations and meeting new FrIENDS. we call it looping, I might suggest you rent one on a day you are planning to to just stay at the fort. Then you can decide whether or not its worth it. Me personally wouldn't be at the fort without one but I'm old and lazy.

Is the waffle maker loaded up and ready to cook?
Are Maria's shoes properly inflated? What about the uhauls tires? Did you check the spare? Did you put on the safety chains? What about weight distribution? Don't over load Maria or the truck? Make sure you go to the bathroom before you leave because we are not stopping till we get there! Lol!
Have a safe and fun trip and take lots of pix for those of us who are jealous because we can't be there.

Thanks Jason. Right before reading this I had called Disney reservations about buying park tickets with waterparks and more option. We have never been to the waterparks. I asked the gal about how many slides/rides I could ride because of my injuries. She transferred me to a very helpful CM and our conversation quickly turned to the new DAS system. I told her my situation and she informed me that for people who can't easily get a return time 10 minutes shorter than the stand by line will be accomadated. She gave the example of a family that had a wheelchair bound member that couldn't easily push the child across the park to do something else and then come all the way back when it was their time to ride. Will be accomadated them and let on the ride just like with the old GAC. So even though i was against the changes. I'm glad that Disney is not using a blanket policy to cover everyone and that they really are handling every situation on an individual basis.
