  1. I hope you bought two so that you have a spare for when the next one goes out.
  2. He stated it was egt12 which is the second one. It is right after the catalytic converter and before the SCR. Talk on the forums is the sensors are failing due to high heat, but that is for number 4, called egt14 on scanners. Ford has a new computer flash recall out that lowers the regeneration temp and some believe eliminates the complete shutdown when a sensor goes bad. There has not been any confirmation yet of exactly what the flash does.
  3. I agree that they should not have been pulled. For that matter the colors of the Monorails should never have been changed. Society has gotten way too thin skinned!
  4. I think we need to take up a collection to get Aaron a new camera. Those last pictures are blurry, or I need new contacts one.
  5. The water level being low has everything to do with the Four Seasons. When construction started on that, the level was dropped and every time I have been to the fort, the water has been low, including this past Halloween, even though Bay Lake was high.
  6. Wow...Bear Rock is in the water!!!! I hope the level will stay there but I am not holding my breath.
  7. Guess with this change and the arcade dying out, there will not be any need to haul 20 pounds of quarters in the camper.
  8. Has there been any thought to trying to link all the Fiends reservations and maybe take over a whole loop? And by the way, we will be there too.
  9. The one at the bottom of the picture which would be closest to the rear axle.
  10. The correct proportion is the ears are to be 3/4's the size of the head. So if a 12 inch head, then 8 inch ears. If a 16 inch head, then 12 inch ears.
  11. If you haven't seen it before the 6.7 PSD Bible is a very good read if you like to know the technical aspects of how it all works. If you would like to see it, pm me your email and I will send you the PDF.
  12. Actually there are 4 egt sensors. The number 4 egt sensor is usually the one that shuts the engine down. A cheap code reader should be included in the kit. I use an Edge Insight gauge that can read and reset trouble codes. It told me which sensor was bad when it happened to me but I don't remember doing anything but replacing the sensor and then it just started up. Sounds like your mechanic doesn't want to lose an easy repair.
  13. A 13 MM wrench and a replacement sensor part number: AC3Z-5J213-B but could have been replaced with an updated number since I bought my spare a year ago. Cost was $56. Is located on the exhaust pipe at the end of the Particulate filter. Takes about 5 minutes to replace unless the exhaust pipe is too hot.
  14. If you keep driving, don't get below 5 mph or it will shut off. It also will not speed up any faster than you are able to maintain. I had one go out on me. Luckily I was not in a bad situation when it did. I now carry a spare in the glove box. If in an emergency situation, just plug the new sensor in, zip tie it to the frame till you can get somewhere safe to remove the bad one.
  15. Hence the recommendation that was made to me to not jump into an 8 foot wide rv, with the steering wheel on the wrong side, driving on the wrong side of the road, and traverse down these kinds of roads. I will say that I only had one incident where habit took over and I drove on the wrong side for a short period of time. Luckily there were no other vehicles close at the time and I figured it out real quick.
  16. For a first time vacation in a foreign country, you could not ask for a better place than Ireland. Every where we went the local people were so nice and helpful. They never acted like you were a bother to them. Almost all the B&B host stated that they would rather rent to a foreigner than an Irishmen because the foreigners never caused any troubled, were in bed early, and liked to talk about the local community and learn about it.
  17. Driving in the country side was very nice, but very tight roads. It took a little bit to get used to driving in the right hand seat of the car and driving on the left side of the road. No special license needed and very easy to rent a car. Driving in Dublin after being awake for 27 hours, with mostly one way streets and no right hand turns allowed.....was Harrowing!! I also recommend renting a European GPS with the rental car. I thought that renting a small Class B would be great, but it was cheaper to rent a car and stay at B&B's, and there are fantastic B&B's everywhere we went.
  18. I would check your local Craig's list. You can find good used ones cheap.
  19. I have not but I researched it a lot in preparation for a family vacation to Ireland. I discussed it with two people that live in England and they gave me all the details they could along with a lot of pictures. We decided it was best to stay in hotels and B&B's with a rental car instead of renting an RV. It was a wise decision due to the size of the roads and finding an empty site at the caravan parks was like finding one at the Fort. They book up way in advance, at least in Ireland. I also paid close attention when we passed one in our travels and they all looked the same, just like the
  20. Well, Space Mountain Disney World cars are single person in-line. That is a picture of Space Mountain DisneyLand.
  21. What a typical caravan park. The recreation takes place elsewhere. This is just for sleeping. Not sure if you can see it but the parking spaces are on a concrete mat that allows the grass to grow through it.
  22. Pictures can be seen here: http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2015/01/new-retail-magicbands-and-accessories-to-kick-off-2015-at-walt-disney-world-resort/?CMP=SOC-FBPAGE20150109170817
