If you are talking about westbound in Louisiana, it is there but there are no eastbound rest areas between BR and the MS line.

Unfortunately (or Fortunately as they were very bad) all the rest areas going east from Baton Rouge along I-12 and I-10 have been closed and torn down. I really like the ones in Florida though.

I drove trucks for over ten years. Like was stated earlier, as long as you don't camp out at the pump, no one will be bothered by you fueling up in the truck lanes. Be polite and pull forward to the line before going in to pay. Most truckers like to admire the rv's and wish they were able to do it too.

We came close to buying one for our son. It is getting very bad reviews though. The head does not stay on and it is hard to control it. Basically a glorified remote control ball. And at $150 plus tax we decided to pass.

We are about 14 hours from the Fort in Louisiana. Our normal trip down is to leave about 4 in the afternoon and drive 60 miles into Florida to a rest area where we go to sleep around midnight. We pull out of the rest area around 7 the next morning and we arrive around 1 Fort time to check in. On the way home we pull out at 7 fort time and make it home around 9-10 central time, 830 miles in one day.

How can they have the worlds largest rocking chair and then NOT have rocking chairs on the front porch?

Our tickets were ordered online and they mailed us the cards. One thing to know about the special parties like MNSSHP and the MVMCP, it includes admission into the Magic Kingdom after 4PM. So you do not have to have a park ticket to get in for the Party as long as you go in after 4PM. We have used this in the past to save a days park admission.

So we blame the Limey's for this.
