  1. Hmmm... this could take a while. (Assuming we are limiting this to table service) Done: Cyrstal Palace, Chef Mickey's, Kona Cafe, Boatwright's, Whispering Canyon, Fulton's Crab House, Trail's End, Boma, San Angel Inn, Biergarten, Hollywood Brown Derby, Sci Fi Dine-In Theater, Rainforest Cafe, Yak and Yeti Bucket List: Victoria and Alberts, Jiko, Raglan Road, Cinderella's Royal Table (and no, Thrill Shakespeare - it doesn't count that you ate at it when it was King Stephen's Banquet Hall), Artist Pointe, Blue Zoo, the Luau at Polynesian, Hoop De Doo Review (for me - TS did that with his fa
  2. We have stayed in the cabins a few times. The dining table is small for 6 people, but if you don't try to eat at the same time or don't mind dining on the couch, then all is well. I liked the privacy a lot. You really don't hear other guests. I agree with Nicole about the storage. There were six of us and we stacked suitcases and boxes at the end of the beds. All in all, I like the cabins... but I must say that we have only been when my awesome MIL was paying. If we were paying we would be in a tent or All Star or Pop......
  3. Huge fans of 1500 here! 2000 just seems so big and so far away from everything.
  4. True. Though I must admit it isn't nearly as entertaining as the story of a fiend member crashing to the floor while in the midst of, um, voiding would be.
  5. Is the Mermaid show building hosed down like everything around the castle or was the wind just "right"?
  6. Yah!!! Another believer! :jumpforjoy We, too, believe that all WDW trips should include Biergarten. One way to cut the cost SOME is to go at lunchtime. It is cheaper and gives us more time to walk off the over full tummies!
  7. Glad to hear the trip went well after all the madness. I was worried about you guys because I had read you were headed down that day and we know what a nightmare 75 is from Atlanta to down past Cordelle on a regular basis. We were hearing reports of sections being closed north and south of us - we live just off 475. Oh yeah, and thanks, Dave, I could have made page one.
  8. Thrill Shakespeare loves the carrot cake cookie but it is too rich for me. I have tried different things there and enjoyed them all - but I will have to say some would be better served warm. I had a danish with dark chocolate filling a few weeks ago. It was good (and huge) but the leftovers were amazing the next day after 20 seconds in the camper's microwave!
  9. My favorite pie would be my mom's pecan pie. It used to be her strawberry pie but since it contains red jello (red dye #40) in the glaze, I can't have it anymore. :TantrumSmiley:
  10. AMEN!!!!! (and it does not have LIME juice in it!)
  11. Yep, right through the seriously intense perfume. Ugggg.... I have to hold my breath until I can get out of the store unless I want a migraine to plague me the rest of the day. Thankfully the store wasn't very crowded when we were there a few weeks ago.
  12. That was Thrill. He had taken it on one of the trips he chaperones. He knows how much I love those silly trees. I did not grow up in Florida like he did, but I have always had a thing for palm trees. We can't maintain a real one in Georgia, but we decorate a little with them (paintings, dishes, etc) in our kitchen. We even have a lighted artificial Christmas palm tree. Silly, I know....
  13. [quote name="Runner ... aka Ed" post="329068" timestamp=" Disney runs are Magical ... because you have a LOT of people supporting you during the runs. During the Full Marathon I had the distinct pleasure of seeing you race through the Magic Kingdom for the half and full. You are truly an inspiration!
  14. Short update - Thrill/Olaf will chime in shortly. We had a great trip but returned home with loads of work to catch up on and colds we caught from his dad. I was able to see him during the half and full marathon at a few places but didn't get pics. Finding your favorite runner in that immense crowd is unreal!
  15. I should clarify that the day started at 3:00 am getting Thrill to the marathon and me on to the MK, AK, and DHS for viewing and ending at Epcot. In the late afternoon we did a few hours at DHS.
  16. I wore t-shirt and shorts today and froze! The wind was cold, but the sun was warm. Comfort depended on whether or not something blocked the wind.
  17. Thrill Shakespeare and I will be there tonight! Not sure how much time we will be at the campsite since we are trying to get the races done and park time, too, but hope to meet you. Look for our Fiends sign! We'll post the site number on that thread when we find out.
  18. The only running DramaMama will be doing is chasing all these crazy boys around! .....Trust me, it will be enough of a workout!
