  1. They run pretty hot also. I had the modem and my wireless router in the storage bin under my dinette seat and I had to leave it propped open.
  2. I guess we lucked out when we got the modem. Everything worked the first time. I can imagine those parts go thru he** and they probably aren't tested before they are sent back out. Glad you got connected.
  3. I am a member of the FB group. I reply to questions that I know the answer(or at least I think I do), and if not, I try to steer them over here. The one thing I cannot do unfortunately is recommend Jason. I'm pretty sure the page was created by a TA and they get very defensive if you mention another TA. I did that once and they jumped right in with a remark or two. I figure once I get them steered over here, they will see the glowing praises heaped upon him by Happy Campers and will decide to contact him.
  4. If you can scan and copy into google, either that or babel fish will translate it.
  5. Are you getting the Solar golf cart banner ad popping up for you at the top of this thread?
  6. Also, think of the added expense getting these rigs to a show. No wonder the "show deals" aren't so spectacular. They need to recoup those huge fuel fees and wear and tear. Same thing with stadium car sale blowouts. They have the salesmen and lot boys convoying for a couple of days bringing their inventory miles from the dealership, then they have to take all the unsold cars back. All that wasted time and $$ gets tacked on somewhere, the dealers sure aren't going to eat it.
  7. My wife's late uncle had a commercial license in NY. He used to go crazy on the wimpy laws and lax enforcement in FL on the various types of commercial rigs. He would've gone nuts seeing a double camping rig!
  8. Yup just like the fairs. Most of the time you buy tickets for what you want, then they have the unlimited days when they get crazy crowded. We don't do most of the rides at Busch or SeaWorld any more. We just walk, do shows, and try to spot our adventuresome granddaughter on the rides.
  9. No but they have giant squids, like in 20000 Leagues Under the Sea that can pull a liner underwater never to be seen again!
  10. Too many cooks.... and they are all using different recipes It's like Ray said, they won't change until a lawsuit hits them hard. When someone gets bit or traumatized by a charging dog. When someone gets run over by an under aged or impaired cart driver. When a fight breaks out between a fed up paying customer and one of the freeloading outsiders. And the shame of it all is that they are all easy fixes and we all know it (and so do they).
  11. I knew they were allowed in the 1600, I think that group of loops 1600-1900 was if I'm not mistaken, the original loops designated as Pet Loops when they added them. I had heard that pets were not allowed at 1500 and 2000 because they can't be secured inside of the shelters (tents and pop ups) to protect them from the weather and heat. This is from all-ears, not sure what the date on it is. but it must be ancient because they mention weekly and monthly discounts. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Loops 1500 and 2000 remain as partial hook-up sites for c
  12. They look like a rounded version of the Little Debbie Zebra cakes.
  13. So the inconsiderate uncaring jack***es win again. It was great that you got a better spot, but I sure would hate to break camp and move all of my stuff, especially if it was less than a weeks stay, or really at any time. I guess at the moment I don't have to worry, since we book partial sites and supposedly dogs aren't allowed in those. But we could hear one yapping all day long from a camper in the 1600 loop the first couple of days we were there for the week of the 4th. Last line says it all, they have selective enforcement of the rules. No skateboards, but the same underage kid ca
  14. The roof rack idea is impressive!! Wonder if the bikes would squish down enough when I lowered my pop up roof??
  15. Most of the hitch haul type of platforms have bike carrier accessories that bolt on the platform.
  16. We took 3 in my pickup bed along with a ton of other stuff while hauling our pop up. Looked like the Beverly Hillbillies, but we made it with a cargo net over everything. Take the pedals off, it's amazing how much less space they will take up. Don't forget to take the wrench to put them back on! It only takes a few minutes to be ready to ride. And don't forget to take a bike lock with you.

  18. From the 2000 loop You can cut through the group camping loop and there is a bridge to the 900 loop and that comes out across from the meadow.
  19. Getting off track, but one of the best deals is the evening wagon rides!
  20. We should protest! People can bring their own golf carts and bikes, but Disney rents them. There must be a lot more liability on those then a kayak!
  21. See, another reason why everything at the parks are fiberglass!
  22. We made the complete circuit last summer. The canal that leads back to the bike barn is full of submerged and floating logs, branches and slime. You can make it thru there but it's a challenge. It's a shame,,because it wouldn't take maintenance very long to clear it out. Oh wait, this is the same Disney that has taken months to refurb the snack bar and redo the castle moat area. But seriously, it should only take about a week to clear all the crap out and get the water flowing thru there again. We were able to go up the canal behind 1500 quite a ways, then still take the long way back and b
