  1. We have a Chevy 2500 HD towing a 4000lb TT, it makes it easy. We are looking at an additional vehicle due to the expanding family and I really don't want a mini van.......I'm thinking a Suburban that can act as a back up tow vehicle if needed.
  2. We will miss it by a day...I'm extremely bummed but decided extending just for me while traveling solo with two small girls who have yet to be introduced to Star Wars might be a little scary on their end. Soon we will......
  3. I agree and I was just looking at other options. We are staying at Shades of Green in May, normally you wouldn't get Mbands but because we have them from our Dec Fort stay they are still valid with the AP. Its cheaper to stay at the SOG or a value (with discount) than at the Fort. There is a great deal of chatter on the SOG site because Disney has yet to figure out a way to include SOG guest in the bands. Apparently, the agreement with the DOD and Disney was that SOG would receive the same treatment as other resort guests (except for room charges) but its not happening with the bands. Our
  4. when we had issues in Oct & Dec I had my smart phone but MDE wouldn't load. The CM turned us away even with a screen shot for the Little Mermaid, my oldest was in tears. I was able to get MDE to work and went back not 5 minutes later and he then let us in.
  5. I sent the video to my husband and he said a truck very similar if not the same did that on the farm he worked at back home.
  6. I have yet to keep the girls up late enough to see Fantasmic, I need to work on that for this next trip.
  7. I squeeze our 2500 crew cab in the garage, when we get tires, not going to happen. My neighbor was renting the house across the street and was one of those little guys who worked out all the time, cold barely get his arms to his sides. He went out and bought a big ol jacked up Tundra and tried all afternoon to measure the garage so he could get it in. Hilarious! Great entertainment at watching him and his little man temper get all riled up.
  8. Cool, was wondering when I'd see this to save me sometime on hacking one of ours up.
  9. We saw her in Dec or maybe it was Oct by the Festival of the Lion King, not sure where they hid her with all the changes. We were really impressed with how accurately she portrayed her character.
  10. We'll be there the last week it runs. From what I've read the food is under appreciated versus Food & Wine which I'm guessing it should be? We will have been to both after this next trip, and we is me and the mini monsters. I enjoyed the F&W but the girls weren't too impressed. I'm thinking there is more for them to do and the food choices are more along the lines of something my kids would eat. We do a good size garden every year so this is more of something they can relate to. And of course being little girls, flowers are awesome!
  11. Thanks for the update, very interesting to watch and learn the reasoning behind this improvement. Even though we will be staying at a different location come May, I'll have to stop by to check it out.
  12. I agree, there is a campground not far from my house that is an 8 on their scale. I've been there, not so much. There are quite a few we have come across that are rated high and should be at the most a 4.
  13. I'm impressed! I minored in Art but this is a beautiful talent!
  14. I say do it! We went with the kids and we all loved it. Its a great vantage point and a super way to relax after a day at the parks. Being without them would be great because you can avoid the "stroller dash" out of the parks to get all the kids to bed after the show. We had the girls in back carriers to avoid the stroller fiasco and they feel asleep so we were able to stroll around a very empty park for August standards.
  15. The cruise splits into two different boats and the characters do not go on the boats, just for the desserts and the walk down to the party. We happened to be catching a boat back to the Fort and got to see the pirate procession to the boats. The boats take up both sides of the dock so you have to wait for the resort boats, it was about 15 minutes. The cool thing was that Capt Hook and Smee came right up to us after everyone loaded the pirate boats and departed. The girls love Peter Pan so it was a awesome mistake for them! Find out what the departure time is and head to the Contemporary d
  16. We'll be at Shades of Green during that time and from what I've heard, its a GREAT time to be at Disney!
  17. My kids can't read so no good for us, they know all the words anyhow. Just today the 2 year old was pulling on the vacuum cord and I told her to "let it go", well she did and broke out in full song. Great idea for the lyrics on screen most of the audience was singing along at our last show.
