I agree with everything Carol wrote and you should follow her advice, however I can also tell you with 100% certainty that those drivers will be looking for a tip whether they handle your bags or not. I call them cockroaches.
They're not Disney CMs and some blatantly solicit tips for just driving the bus.
I don't understand why Disney allows it. A lot, if not most, people assume that they are CMs, and their behavior reflects badly on Disney.

And DIT. It doesn't matter how well your girls marry.
It's the father of the bride that pays.
And the better they marry the better the wedding has to be.
Have you ever seen Father of the Bride with steve Martin?
It's a must see for any father of a daughter.

Sometimes I become hopeful that the human race is smart enough that we are going to make our way in this world for my children and grandchildren to enjoy.  And then I see something like this.

Your chances of being spiked will increase if you remove the "GO DAWGS" from your tag.

If you change it to "Go Gators," I will personally deliver a FWRR spike with an orange and blue bow on it.

Don't get me started on line jumpers or those who feel soap is an option while on vacation in Florida.

My daughter was there last weekend, and if you paid using your Magic Band, they would use that for finding the table.  My daughter used the rose.

Then apparently nothing does. Because anything that makes me happy, can't be deserving of a down arrow.
IASW provides me happy, nostalgic memories of the first time I enjoyed it in 1974.  And possibly I rode a version of it at the NY World's Fair, but I was only 3 when I went to it so I don't have a clear memory.   Up arrow for warm and fuzzy feelings.      :raspberry:

Hey, what do they expect?  They rip off guests all day long everywhere else, and here's a chance to get over on the Mouse.

When we've been there, we got as much as we could too.

The beancounters have to hate this.  I'll bet it's gone when Captain Cook reopens.

OK, I'll be the "odd man out" with this one. I have dealt directly with Kristin over the last 3 years and she does practice that philosophy. Her former secretary (Rachel) who moved back to MI was just as proactive. So don't be too quick to criticize her remarks.

I never consult the crowd calendars.  There's no magic to them.  They rate parks that have EMH or some kind of special event as parks to avoid.  Otherwise, I don't see how they're helpful or anything more than a guess.

djsamuel reacted to Tri-Circle-D in First timers-looking for loop suggestion
    Welcome.

The good news for you is that there are very few sites at the Fort that are noisy or around heavy activity.  Almost all of the premium loops have some sites that back up to a major road, including the 800 loop.  Even if you got one of those sites, I don't think you'd be bothered by noise.  The 1100 loop, which was mentioned above, has some sites that back right up to cabins on the 2100 loop.  That would be great if you know the people in the cabin, but maybe not so much if you don't.

First time visitors worry too much about what loop to request.  I wouldn't hesitate to stay in any premium loop.  Since you have a golf cart, it really doesn't matter.

    Have a great trip.

I am wondering if that point where people stop paying the Fort prices are not already here. I do believe for the first time in I can't remember how long, I am actually considering staying off property because the prices are so out of line for the summer.

djsamuel reacted to Avatab.... Steve in Rumor: New Epcot Attraction?
The original theme for Future World was well though out. 8 Pavilions for Life, Sea, Land/Food, Energy, Transportation, Communication, and IMHO the two most important and forward thinking: Imagination, and Optimism for the Future (Horizons).

A tour of Future World would give the average adult or teenager a good overview of human accomplishments thus far, and a hopeful glimpse of what could be.... it was by far my favorite part of Disney, and I was always grateful that they had the vision to create such an amazing place.  A place that didn't require scaring you, throwing you around, or selling you something, that's what the other parks were for. This place was special, and made me feel PROUD and HOPEFUL for the human race.

Now?  Sadly, as several have pointed out above, the older pavilions are showing their age, and the rest are off-message, off-theme, or just OFF.
