So what is taking you to Sycamore? My in laws both used to work there but it's not what I would call an interesting destination.

With all the money Disney is raking in, they should dome all of the parks and resorts!

Ha, I have to laugh at myself. When I first read the thread topic, I honestly envisioned "Bus Monitors" riding the bus, standing by the door in the aisle checking for freeloaders with coolers headed to the pool! :popo:

keith_h got a reaction from djsamuel in Trailer Tires
As I said above I think part of the problem is the RV manufacturers use tires at the very end of their rating to save money. The tires on my TT are rated at 1764 lbs each. The trailer with a GVW of 3600 lbs it is cutting it close with a max weight on both tires of 3528 lbs. Assuming a 10% tongue weight of 360 lbs that is around 3200 lbs on the tires. Not much room for a mistake that overloads them. I keep the trailer around 3000 lbs max so am not that worried about overloading. I also stick to the speed limit or 65 mph which ever is slower when towing.

I know... it is the parent's fault however, how often have we talked about Disney looking the other way when they see foolish people on golf carts?  I think most people who come to the Fort, do so at least once a year; so there are lots of "repeat offenders".  With that, I wonder what would happen if Disney really buckled down and started to enforce the rules; if they saw someone poorly driving a rented cart, they should take it away.  Right then and there.  If they see someone poorly driving a private owned cart, same thing.  They should tell the guest that they can either have their golf cart stored by Disney (for a fee of course) for the duration of their stay or they can check out of the campground without a refund.  I wonder if Disney enforced rules, how quickly we might see an change?  Also, curious... when a person brings their own personal GC, do they register it with the front desk?  If you report an issue with a driver on a cart, can Disney track down the owner?  If I were Disney (or, that's a lovely game :) ), I would pass out a bright neon peace of paper with the GC rules (and consequences) clearly written; each guest would have to sign one with they checked in... every person in the party (16 and older) would need to sign it.  Then, I would do the hard work of enforces the rules.  My guess is Disney would get some pushback and angry people for the first year, but then it would mellow out and improve.   Of course, I also wouldn't allow 5 families to share one campsite... but that's a whole other thread on its own

A restaurant that has windows facing the MK should not have balconies outside where people can block your view.  That's part of the allure of the MK facing restaurants.

If they spent as much time and money repairing the parks and creating new rides/attractions as they do developing useless crap and trying to get your $$, we would be seeing a new ride opening up every 6 months!

For those who are not familiar with Deadmau5 (pronounced  dead mouse). I find the logo rather scary myself and would never confuse it with Mickey.

When I had my travel trailer, I used a little trick to help me remember which way to turn the steering wheel when I was backing the trailer. I'd put my right hand at the bottom of the steering wheel, and then whichever way I wanted the trailer to go, that's the direction I'd move my right hand. I hope this helps you.
