  1. They have a special short yellow bus just for the EWP. Look for it. The marquee will say "crappy, hokie, old attractions". I can relate. My idea of heaven. You have it half right.

  3. Don't be silly, you can't see from Epcot, but you can see it at Hour Glass Lake between Pop Century and AoA. Bring your chairs and coolers and be sure to get there real early, about 3 in the afternoon because the beach fills up quickly. And don't worry if it's 10 pm and it hasn't come by yet, it will, trust me.

  4. Ok, some of you asked for Gwen's Adventure Planking video, so here it is. If you have 5 minutes to spare it might give you a chuckle. In particular, pay attention at around 4:10 of the video. If you wonder why Gwen overdubbed the sound with Japanese, it's because I yelled at her to hurry up cause this was right after dinner and I was so full I couldn't lay there any longer. She didn't want my yelling in the video so she overdubbed me in Japanese. :rofl3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Egfq9eMFY3g&feature=youtu.be

  7. Way to go. Posting your own photos is even easier. First, upload them to a photo hosting site, like photobucket.com. Then you just have to copy and paste the address provided by the hosting site. The hardest part is getting the photos uploaded. Once you figure that part out, the rest is easy. TCD

  9. I was looking around the official Disney Fort Wilderness website tonight and came across this interesting tidbit: Fun Facts The tree trunk trashcans throughout Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are recycled props from the retired Indian Village attraction that was open in Frontierland at Disneyland Theme Park in California from 1955 to 1971.I just thought that was interesting...hadn't heard that before. I also found it interesting that someone would highlight that fact on the website, as I thought they had been phasing those trashcans out in recent years.

  11. I had to pick up at the GF today. While there I got off the bus and checked out the monitor to see what it looked like. WTF, I didn't see my bus on the list of buses even though I was already there. Oh, oh, a snag. The system depends on the automated dispatch system that is currently being used. The problem is that it's not all that great. Lots of problems. So the display at the GF is only as good as the system that it's getting it's info from. As it turns out the little black box on my bus wasn't working, happens a lot. So my bus didn't show up anywhere and of course, it didn't appear on the

  12. I'm still at this point. As much of a WDW geek as I am, I really don't want to see the "real" side. I'd still much rather prefer to believe that there really is a charming little apartment here that we can live in, and sit out on the porch and watch the people go by... That said, there are a few tours I'd like to do, but mostly things like the ones at Animal Kingdom, the walking tour of the greenhouses at The Land in Epcot, and maybe some of the holiday ones that show how they decorate the parks. I'm holding off on peeking behind the magic for now.

  14. Many of the characters do not put the heads on until they are actually going out into the park. It was weird seeing Winnie with his head under his arm.. They have scent machines that spray cookies and popcorn aroma up onto main street.

  15. :lmao1: Where does the ticket line form? I'm curious to see if they do a better job of blocking that path from the camping riff-raff. If the Fort freeloaders can blatantly walk to the outpost bus stop with coolers, towels and charcoal to invade the Fort pool, I'm all for trying the same thing there.

  16. Bandit (4 mnth old yorkie/schnauser hybrid) sitting on the floor after just having asked me, " hey dad, when we heading to the Fort?" Which is kind of hard to believe, when you consider he just joined our family on Thursday. How did he know we were such Fort Fiends already? Backstory: we lost our beloved Zeus July 6th. The hole in our family was huge, but fate is trying to fill part of it with Bandit. We rescued him from a shelter. He was picked up as a stray, but is in great shape. He has no trust issues and will gladly roll over and let you pet his belly. Health wise he is great and it ap
