  1. I knew that we should have went to epcot yesterday. We could have encountered royalty.
  2. We are on 1710....No sign. I haven't seen any other fiend signs other than Tom's, but I haven't been in all of the loops yet.
  3. Just picked a Springfield Armory XD 45 tactical. It will get your attention. :clint:
  4. Definitely don't go over your RAWR, GCWR or tire weight ratings (on sidewall). If this was my truck I would scale it with and without the camper, if possible. Lose the P rated tires, if it has them, and go with a good LT load range E. Put a Prodigy P2 brake controller in it. Add a trans temp guage. factory needle guages, if equipped, are worthless. Get a good weight distribution hitch and sway bar system and set it up correctly Most importantly...take it easy and don't try to run 70 everywhere.
  5. You need to trace the lines down. That could be the AC condenser.
  6. That is a decent size TT. You will be close or over on the numbers if you pack like my wife packs a camper. I suspect that you will run out of motor pretty quickly at highway speed on hills. You will definitely need to let that 4.8 rev to the moon to keep it moving. Mileage and driver comfort will suffer as a result, but it should move it along.
  7. I just purchased four 5 day single park tickets through Mousesavers. We used to park hop but not since we had kids. I'm thinking about upgrading them when we arrive, but I am on the fence. $250 goes a long way towards diesel.
  8. We have those here from time to time. They are big enough to assault a turkey.
  9. My kids love it. One of my girls gets car sick, but she didn't have a problem on the ride.
  10. I don't think my current tow vehicle would fit in there. I bet your van would not go either.
  11. I would say, yes, paying 14 grand for a pop up is crazy....... but if you can not find one used and it would lead to happy camping then go for it. It's only money.
  12. I like those Work and Play's. They are an enclosed trailer first and camper second. They are not plush, but they built to haul. If we were solely race camping that is what I would have.
  13. I'm trying for 1700 first then. Lone-star, The last time we were in 400 wasn't so good. Not much room at all at that particular site. We had stayed in 400 twice before, and we had plenty of room. As for the sand, I have some 2x10's and some LVL scrap that should work well. I am also going to try a set of scissor jacks just ahead of the tires on this trip. If it works well I am going to mount some there.
  14. That video on the s1 site is full of win. That dude really trusts the guard. He got way under there a few times.
  15. Maybe they will install windows that open on that new deluxe monorail so the uppity up's could toss down spare change and table scraps to the peasants camping below.
  16. Obviously, a direct monorail line to the Fort would be the best solution.
  17. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, we roll out to the Fort in 2 weeks. I have a FH reserved. I haven't stayed in one since I was a kid. Which loop would be best for a 40' triple slide 5'er? Thanks, Fiends.
  18. Marketing BS at its finest. That Lippert frame would fold in half with that much weight just in the garage. Plus, Voltage owners have had enough trouble with their ramp doors without loading a truck on them. If you load a TH up for an extended dry camp you eat up a lot of carrying capacity. Mine will carry nearly 1000 lbs of water plus 240 lbs of gas before any gear is put in it.
  19. Wow. That was awesome of you guys! That's good stuff right there!
